Howard Graham Buffett was born on the 16th of December 1954. Born to Warren Buffet and Susan Thompson, Howard is the middle child. He is preceded by an older sister, Susan, and a younger brother, Peter. Howard Graham was named after his grandfather Howard Buffett and Warren’s mentor Benjamin Graham. Growing up Howard followed his father around and wanted to work in the field of business. After finishing high school in 1947, Howard attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Howard’s first involvement in the business world was as a farmer. He began farming in 1977 in Tekamah, Nebraska. The $760,000 plot was purchased by Warren, but Howard had to pay rent to his father.
