This is one of the best Chinese food places in the Capital region. I got Sesame tofu and it was cooked perfectly, nice crispy bite to it. The sauce is excellent. My boyfriend always gets the bourbon chicken here and he says it's the best. Some places also do not have this dish which leaves him disappointed so we make the 40 minute drive to Fu Sing sometimes so he can get his favorite dish. They also cook tofu properly which makes me happy. Well worth it. If you are in the area, I recommend grabbing a bite here. We ate in the restaurant because we didn't want to have it sit in the car for 40 mins on the way home. Tables and everything were nice and clean, which is sometimes not the case for a takeout place that doesn't very often have people stay to eat on the premises. I'm super happy they made it through the pandemic and are here to stay.
Parking can be tricky but not anything that would stop us from visiting. Their food is worth it! I hope you all take a trip to visit them. Especially worth it if you feel the places near you aren't very good. This one never disappoints. Very consistent!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Dayton S.Schenectady, NY615743Mar 16, 2023Updated review
I got Szechwan shrimp. Shrimp was mushy and cold. Food was cold. Veggies were undercooked. Almost raw. Sauce was terrible not like it usually is. My wife's pepper steak was terrible. We weren't sure if it was beef. Couldn't chew it. The hot and sour soup was terrible. Rice was old and hard. Our last time there.

My wife got Beef Pepper Steak. Got it home and was happy to see their containers do not leak which was nice. The egg roll was nice and crisp. The General Tso's was good. Not overdone and Hamada nice sauce. I saved my soup for dinner. It was also good. My wife got 2 meals (lunch and dinner) from her pepper steak that she also enjoyed. We will definitely return.

The worst food I have ever eaten from Chinese I wouldn't get it if they gave it free every time

Ehhhhh not a fan. Food tasted gummy to me. I got the general tos and vegetable fried rice. The egg roll was extremely greasy and chewy as well. I don't know if I'll be back. I've tried a lot of Chinese restaurants and this one wasn't even somewhere I'd try again. To each their own. Right?

I stopped at Fu Sing for takeout lunch recently, which is located at the busy 4 corners intersection (Curry Rd & Guilderland Ave) in Rotterdam. The access in and out of here can be tricky since it's so close to the busy intersection and queued (stopped) vehicles can block the driveway.
Fu Sing serves up standard Chinese fare including Hunan, Szechuan, and Cantonese style cuisine. Healthy dishes are offered. They also offer 29 Lunch Specials ($4.80-$4.90) served with rice and choice of soup or soda, and 24 Special Combination Dinners ($6.35-$7.30) served with pork fried rice & egg roll. Family size containers of duck sauce are for sale here, and the sauce packets and hot tea are complementary.
The restaurant itself is order at the counter with the kitchen in view of the open waiting and dining area (tables/seats). The "skill crane" prize machine was out of order, so no wining stuffed toys & dvds for the kids. The place was steady (around 2:30PM on a Saturday) with a few customers arriving to pick-up phone-in orders and the delivery person rushing in and back out with shopping bags of hot food.
I ordered the L7 Shrimp Lo Mein ($4.80 plus tax) with pork fried rice and hot & sour soup, which was ready to go in about 10 minutes. The portion of hot food (served in a round foil container) was good for the price. The Shrimp Lo Mein was tasty which had tender shrimp, cabbage, Chinese vegetable, mushrooms tossed in firm noodles. The pork fried rice had chunks of chewy roast pork and onions in firm yellow rice, pretty decent tasting. The pint of hot and sour soup had egg, mushrooms, roots, bamboo shoots, bean curd, pork, pepper flakes, a good mix of ingredients, but the broth had a weird sweet flavor and not too spicy with a bit of an aftertaste.

The only Chinese food I ever eat in these parts. I supported them during lockdown when restaurants were only delivering and will continue to do so. The food is always consistent. Maybe 1 time during the pandemic, not everything was available and not that fresh but I could definitely understand why.

All our food, a'la carte, was xcellent. The dinner's were undercooked. Hence the 3 star's instead of 4. I will definitely be coming back...

Don't eat Chinese Take out much, but this was delicious. Sesame Chicken was tasty, egg rolls nice and crisp, and fried rice was made right. Being from NYC, I always appreciate when food is fried right and doesn't get that greasy sogginess., and this was done right.
