Q:
Any relation to ting sing that was in Gardena years ago?
A:
Actually not their son, he is the nephew. Raymond is the son but they are the same Chung family and the food is super good but you have to order way in advance or wait for 1.5 hours for pick up.

So anyone that goes here should know this place is take out only. Now that this has been cleared , the food here is great it does take some time depending on the time you decide to order. They have 2 people working 1 in the front and 1 cook, so food will be made hot and fresh. My favorite dish is the honey walnut and kung pao chicken.

Fried calamari was on point ! Crunchy , wasn't rubbery on the inside . Tai tea was fire ! I've tried other places but the sweetness was just right . Waitress was attentive, place was clean.

If you want good food without the fan faire of going to a sit down Chinese restaurant Fu Sing is the place to go. Don't think this doesn't come without a caveat. Ordering early is probably the best advise I can give you. They get pretty busy so it's not like they can whip it out in a couple of minutes. If you want that go to Panda Express! It's definitely worth the wait.

Despite being so small it doesn't diminish the quality of food that they serve. Might be a little pricier than most but it's not Panda Express either. Always short staffed so ordering is sometimes an issue. Patience is a virtue here but worth the wait
Jan 22, 2023Previous reviewLiving in Torrance for over 20 years this restaurant was over looked because it's really small. Take out only. Patience is a virtue when eating here but it's worth the wait. That's the only problem. They only have one cook but he does a fantastic job!

The best Chinese food I have ever eaten in the US. Pork fried rice, sweet and sour pork, sweet and sour chicken fantastic. The Broccoli was outstanding.

The sweet and sour chicken was hard and tasted. Very disappointing. Nothing was great or even good. Fried rice was bland with dried chicken. Chow mein bland. Best thing was broccoli beef. I was told up front the wait would be about 45 minutes because they only had 1 cook and he cooked 1 thing at a time (that explains the old orange chicken). Total waste of my $52.

The food exceeded my expectations although the day I went the item I was most interested in wasn't avaliable but that just means I get to make another trip to Fu Sing.
We ordered:
Broccoli beef
Sweet n sour pork
Pork and chicken Egg rolls
We specifically came for the Egg foo Young but it was out of season (just kidding they were out of ingredients).
I'd give 5 stars if there were indoor dinning, the food is too good to not have the experience that comes with presentation and the flavors hot from the kitchen.
I hope that someday Fu Sing will be able to open a place that has a dine-in option.
I'll definitely be back and recommend Fu Sing to everyone.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 13, 2022
This is an extremely unique and delicious takeout only hole in the wall serving authentic Cantonese style Chinese food. My fiancé grew up nearby in Torrance, and her family used to love a restaurant called Tin Sing. That restaurant apparently closed years ago, but Fu Sing is run by a relative of the person who used to run Tin Sing, and my fiancé can vouch that the food is just as delicious.I hope that they get a location in Los Angeles so I don't have to drive so far to get their Hongshu wonton, but until they do it's always worth the trip
