This hotel was perfect!! It is so conveniently located at Broadway Street. A breakfast is served every morning AND they have a live music reception with munchies every evening! All of the employees were very friendly. The valet gentleman were incredible! They were very courteous and even with lots of people coming and going they kept a smile on their faces and were prompt getting our vehicle whenever we needed to leave! A great big shout out to Jack and McKenzie !!! Thank you!’n

Being an IHG Elite member I would have expected a bit more. I used the new early check in/no touch on the app, but on arrival they had to search for a room for me. I was unfortunately put on a lower floor by Broadway. When staying here ask for a high floor or you will hear the road noise, sidewalk conversations, and even smell the cigarette smoke. With COVID the usual hot breakfast was not available. Instead EVERY DAY was the same 4-5 cereals (Only one that did not have sugar as on of the first two ingredients, a muffin, small bottle of water, warm juice and milk (they never refiled the trays with ice or cooled down the juice the night before), some fresh fruit and coffee (when it wasn't out like it was two of the days during our stay). Shower water pressure was a 2 our of 10. No maid service unless you are staying 5 days or more. The wall mounted soaps and shampoos ran out after 2 days which means that the maids are not doing their job. If you want clean towels you have to go down to the front deck and ask for them and pile up the old ones in a corner of your room. Good - an easy walk to downtown Nashville, the Ryman and other sites.

From the time we checked in until the time we checked out 4 days later, we had a perfect stay. We were greeted by Alexis T. when we first arrived at 9:00 a.m. and even though our rooms weren't available that early, she provided PERFECT customer service. She offered to hold our luggage for us so we could begin to explore downtown.....she did it with a smile and could not have been more welcoming. She also told us that breakfast was still being served and if we would like to partake to please do so. She set the bar very high and is a perfect "face"for the hotel!
Our rooms were very clean at check in but we did not ask for our rooms to be cleaned after that. We only asked for clean towels and the housekeeping staff were gracious in giving us the amount we requested.
We enjoyed the evening reception (provided 7 nights a week/4:00-7:00 p.m.)held in the lobby one evening. That night they had complimentary chicken wings, chips with artichoke dip and cubed cheese......all hot and very tasty! There was also an acoustic guitar player in the lobby providing very nice music (low volume). The morning breakfast was very well presented as well.....one morning they ran out of bacon - no big deal!
This hotel is located a 10 minute walk from all the action on Broadway. Super location!
I would 100% stay and recommend this hotel to anyone in need of a hotel while visiting downtown Nashville!

I purposely booked a Holiday Inn because we've had great experiences.

We stayed five nights and spent about 2000 bucks for the room and valet.

NOISY NOISY. The construction literally outside or window. There was constant slamming of doors down the hall literally shook our walls all day and night. The housekeeping staff were not attentive. We stayed 5 nights the room was NOT vacuumed a single time (and we tipped each day) Teetering microwave, failure to stock complete towels or even wash the bathroom floor. The bathroom door was rotting at the bottom. This looked like blood on the door of the room that was never cleaned for our entire trip. They claimed it was fully booked. The ice machines were shut. We had to go up or down a floor for ice. "Sorry for the inconvenience." Valet parking were terrific and nice but they had only about 75 feet of driveway space. It was a constant and slow maneuver - they did a great job but waiting was terrible.

Hi Valued Guest, Thank you for your stay at our Holiday Inn Express Nashville Downtown Conference Center and for taking the time to leave us feedback. We are all about giving exceptional service to our guests and are committed to comfort in every way. I'm sorry there were a couple of issues you encountered that spoiled your stay. I know how letdown you must have felt towards the cleanliness of the room, it's flooring and the incomplete amenities. I have conveyed your comments to the housekeeping manager and maintenance department for checking. I understand the inconvenience of our on-going renovations to our guest and we are doing our best to finish everything for the better guest experience. I also sent you a private message to reach out further. I hope we get the chance to serve you again and create a better experience for you in the future. Warm thoughts, Deborah R. Let's see. If you were at the fair and one booth was selling a punch in the face for $100 and next door another booth is selling a punch in the face for $10 would you buy the $10 punch in the face because it was 90% off or just steer clear?
That's how I felt after an attempt to reserve two rooms for my wife and I and another couple for a Thursday, Friday and Saturday in May 2020. I called the hotel directly for booking to be sure to get all of my earned Priority Club Reward benefits. When the clerk was reading me the long list of charges and fees I asked what is the "service fee" for. "Oh that is for your amenities". And, what amenities are those, I asked. "That would be your free breakfast and free Wi-Fi". Hmmmmm doesn't sound too free to me? So, she goes on with her spiel and I ask what about free parking? No, she says, "the parking is an extra $35 per night". "So, the room is $217 plus $16.35 service fee plus $35.68 in taxes and $35 for parking which is $304.03 per night", I ask? If that is correct, I continue, " why is the total for three days $1003.42?; that's almost $335 per night not even close to the $217 you quoted me?" She replied, there is a $30 per night extra on Friday and Saturday and the parking is $42 per night on weekends. Wow, that's over $117 per night in extras! So, I told her I wasn't interested and would book elsewhere (the Best Western Plus down the street charges $30 a night more but does actually have free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and free parking, so net, it is about $90 per night less). Her answer was that I cannot cancel my room because when I gave my rewards card number the credit card is attached to it and the room is automatically charged and it is non refundable. Can you imagine?! What a scam!! I asked to talk to a manager and she hung up. After about two hours talking to the Holiday Inn Customer Service rep, the best he could do was cancel that room and sell me a weekend package for $908.25. Granted, that is a little bit better than $1003.42, but, next time I'll steer clear of Holiday Inn Express altogether. With a loyalty program like that, there is no need to stand in line for two hours to buy a punch in the face for 90% off. Beware of a whole litany of extra charges at this property.

Hello Brian C, Thank you for leaving us candid feedback for the Holiday Inn Express Nashville Downtown Conf Ctr to help us identify areas that need additional attention. I am glad you are pleased with our hotel's location. I read you felt to most likely book to any Holiday Inn express in the future due to the rate on your reservation for May 2020. IHG sincerely cares about your experience so I shared your comment with the hotel management for review, and I sent you an email to talk about this more. I hope this will not deter you from keeping us as your preferred choice. Sincerely, Jeraldine R. Case Manager IHGService

I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express. Close to Broadway action, all bars/restaurants walkable, well maintained/clean/great room/beds and great staff - James, Chris and every staff member we came into contact with were super friendly and able to accommodate any of our asks/questions. Plus decent continental breakfast items even with Covid limitations.
Don't hesitate to book here.

My friends and I were in town for a girls week:) I had initially booked another hotel for our stay by mistake, Holiday Inn Express downtown -Vanderbilt (vs downtown-conference center)…..big mistake! Our stay was originally booked Monday thru Friday but by Tuesday noon I knew I couldn’t stay there any longer. Long story short, we paid a visit to Holiday Inn Downtown (conference center) and fortunately for us, Steven, the hotel manager was behind the desk. We explained our situation and he was more than happy to figure out a way to accommodate us without a big financial impact. He gave us a tour of the hotel as well as a look at a room ( super clean) and said that because he had available rooms he would match the rate we had at the Vanderbilt ( we had an early on-line booking rate) Needless to say, we ended our stay at the Vanderbilt and moved right over to Downtown Broadway and only was out a one night double rate which was worth it to us! Our stay was so much better once we moved, the hotel is very clean, staff was always friendly, anytime we ran into Steven he always asked how we were doing and whether there was anything he could do to help us or enhance our stay. He went above and beyond to try and make up for our bad experience at a different hotel! Seriously, this hotel has a great location but more importantly an excellent manager which is evident by the smiles of the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel.
We will be staying here again!!!

Hotel was neat and tidy staff were friendly. Breakfast was really good for the included price and an added bonus of food in the evening (snacks) but enough to act as a light meal (served 4-7pm) whilst a local musician played.
Minus points - ice machines broken on all floors didn’t get repaired whilst we were there.
Our bedroom had a broken blind from before we arrived which didn’t get repaired and also the laundrette was broken again reported but not repaired. Not sure if it was a case of they couldn’t get the parts tho.
Hotel is situated at one end of broadway so walkable to bars on broadway (yes there’s a hill to climb but it’s fine I’m disabled and managed it slowly with stops) there’s a convenience store and whole foods the other direction altho the hotel sells food you can microwave if you want it - it’s cheaper to go to whole foods and grab some salad and fresh fruits. We enjoyed the stay and would stay at that hotel again if we were in Nashville as the staff were lovely.

Hotel is in an excellent spot walking distance to Broadway and many food places, but not sure if it’s worth the troubles. We arrived on a Saturday got to our room and the toilet would not stop running water, we called the front desk and after about 2 hours it was fixed. The room is not soundproof at all we could not sleep with all the motorcycles and cars revving their engines on the street below. We had a room with a sofa bed no blankets in the room, we went to the front desk they gave us a blanket and a sheet when we opened the bed up it sagged so much in the middle we called down for more blankets they said they were totally out. They have three elevators only two were working most of the time, a second one broke one day took forever to use the elevator, as the staff use the same elevators it was fixed later in the day. Next problem we were on the 7th floor and the a/c above our room dripped water on our window all day/ night making noise which was annoying. The pool is missing tiles needs work, the gym is to hot to workout, and the staff did not help with the temperature. The valet staff was very nice, but the setup is horrible as it is a short driveway and many times you have to be in the street waiting blocking the street. The hotel staff was nice. The breakfast was good.

Great location for hanging out downtown.
We had to be moved 2x when we arrived due to toilet issues, otherwise it was fine. Bathroom is fairly small. Housekeeping doesn't enter during your stay.
I would've liked to see the toilet marked sanitized and the remote control sanitized and bagged but it wasn't. There was zero paper or hotel information in the room.
