Full job description
Since our inception in 2004, Top Tier has enjoyed tremendous success, statewide and nationally. Over the past 18 years Top Tier has placed over 500 players in college programs, produced 70 MLB draft picks, 10 Major Leaguers, Gatorade Players of the Year, multiple All-Americans as well as USA Baseball National Team players at multiple age levels.
Responsibilities include on-field coaching, pregame preparation, practice organization, mentoring players, and day to day communication with players, parents, college coaches and scouts.
High School Coach: This is a 2024 spring or summer position. The season will begin at the end of May and run until the end of July. We are looking for head and assistant coaches. Tournaments, games and practices will primarily be held in the Chicagoland area.
We are seeking a candidate that has previous coaching or playing experience at the high school, college, or professional level. The candidate must have strong communication skills and knowledge of baseball. The candidate must be able to communicate to college coaches and scouts regarding the skill set and abilities of players. Further, the candidate must have schedule flexibility throughout the summer.
NOTES:
Additional Salary Information: Pay will be based on experience and length of season.
