19 Best Hockey Romance Books To Read Right Now

Discover the best hockey romance books worth reading that keep things hot on and off the ice!

These are the best books about hockey romance that knocked my socks off and that I feel every romance book lover MUST read right now.

Looking at all the different sports romance books I’ve read (and there are a lot that I highlight in this list of best sports romance books), hockey romance books make up the majority. There’s just something about these hockey heroes that I love from their devotion to the sport, the intensity they bring to the ice, and the chemistry they have with their heroines.

Romance authors must be huge fans of this sport as well because there are a lot of hockey romance novels to pick from if you’re looking to check out men who work it on and off the ice.

My favorite authors who’ve penned the best and my most favorite books about hockey romance include Sarina Bowen, Elle Kennedy, Helena Hunting, and Sawyer Bennett who write entire book series about hockey players and the teams they play for.

I personally love hockey, especially watching it live.

The fights don’t really do it for me, but I love hearing the slap of the puck and the body checks against the boards.

We just started going to minor league games, watching the Providence Bruins play in Providence, RI.

At their games, you can easily get reasonably priced tickets right up against the glass which gives you the perfect view of these amazing athletes.

There are so many hockey romance books I could recommend reading if you can’t get to a game in person, but this is a list of the 19 best hockey romance books that I would re-read in a heartbeat.

Since many of these best hockey romance books are part of a series, I’ve included the name of the series as well so you can check out even more books to add to your must-read pile!

But don’t worry, they can all be read as standalone books.

(*List updated to reflect some of their new graphic book covers!).

The Best Hockey Romance Books:

A Favor for A Favor by Helena Hunting is one of the best hockey romance books worth reading

A Favor for a Favor
(All In Series)
by Helena Hunting

When I joined Seattle’s NHL expansion team, I thought it was the start of something great. But nothing ever goes the way you expect.

Take my introduction to my new neighbor.

She came rolling in on the hot mess express at midnight, making a racket while she tried to get into my team captain’s apartment. Did I mention that he’s married to a woman who definitely was not her?

Imagine my surprise when I end up with an injury that has me out of the game for weeks, and she’s the one to offer to help me.

I should probably add that she’s not the captain’s side piece. She’s his hot, pastel-haired younger sister.

So we come up with an arrangement: she rehabs me so that I can get back on the ice sooner, and she can add a professional athlete that isn’t her brother to her client list. Seems simple enough.

As long as I can keep my hands to myself and my hormones in check.

To say that Stevie is having a bad day when she first meets Bishop is an understatement.

But what follows that disastrous introduction of mistaken identities and wrong assumptions leads to a really sweet and funny enemies to lovers story.

The frustration and tension between Stevie and Bishop while she helps him rehab an injury so he can get back on the ice is spot on and made this a book I could not put down!

Brooklynaire by Sarina Bowen is one of the best hockey romance books worth reading

Brooklynaire
(Brooklyn Series)
by Sarina Bowen

You’d think a billion dollars, a professional hockey team and a six-bedroom mansion on the Promenade would satisfy a guy. You’d be wrong.

For seven years Rebecca has brightened my office with her wit and her smile.

She manages both my hockey team and my sanity. I don’t know when I started waking in the night, craving her.

All I know is that one whiff of her perfume ruins my concentration. And her laugh makes me hard.

When Rebecca gets hurt, I step in to help. It’s what friends do. But what friends don’t do is rip off each others’ clothes for a single, wild night together.

Now she’s avoiding me. She says we’re too different, and it can never happen again. So why can’t we keep our hands off each other?

This book is a hockey romance from a different angle.

It doesn’t involve a player but an owner and his assistant who helps him manage the team.

It’s a bit of hockey romance mixed with a bit of office romance and friends to lovers story where the boss and assistant finally give in one night to their attraction.

Brooklynaire is not only a favorite hockey romance but is also one of the best romance novels of all time!

Boyfriend Bargain
(Hawthorne University Series)
by Ilsa Madden-Mills

Broke and desperate, Sugar Ryan has no use for arrogant, bad boy athletes . . . until she’s forced to bargain with the most arrogant of them all.

If only he knew she was alive.

Her mission? Get on this hockey player’s radar any way possible.

Zack Morgan is the king of the ice and the bedroom—but nothing prepares him for the mystery girl who shows up everywhere he does—frat parties, his favorite bar, and finally his front door with an offer he can’t refuse.

The only rule in her boyfriend bargain: no falling in love.

But after one (um, two) smoking-hot hookups, he’s done with pretending and vows to make their fake relationship real. Too bad she can’t trust a player with a reputation for breaking hearts.

Will this hockey star score his forever girl or will their Boyfriend Bargain end in heartbreak?

Ilsa Madden-Mills writes amazing new adult romance and I am a huge fan of her sports romance books!

Zack is a star hockey player but chased by puck bunnies and Sugar is desperate to get into her dream law school.

She cooks up a plan that a fake relationship with the hockey stud can get her what she wants but doesn’t anticipate the chemistry between them which is off the charts.

Such a great read featuring one hot hockey player.

Puck Me Secretly by Odette Stone is one of the best hockey romance books worth reading

Puck Me Secretly
(Vancouver Wolves Hockey Series)
by Odette Stone

I’ve never been in love. I’ve never had the big O, but I’ve faked plenty. I want to experience love.  Real, passionate love.
I don’t want my life to end.

It’s funny what blurts out of your mouth when the plane you’re on is going down, and I didn’t hold back with my seat mate when my plane decided to crash.

My hysterical confessions didn’t faze the muscular stranger that sat beside me.  In fact, he promised if we survived, he’d give me my first O.

We survived. I came. And then he left without telling me who he was.

On the first day of my job, I stood in front of the Vancouver Wolves hockey team and called out a number.  #33. Imagine my shock when he skated forward.

Max is an incredible hockey player, whose wild, out-of-control antics have almost derailed his career.  So many secrets shroud his past and continue to threaten his future.

Now he’s my secret.  And that secret could ruin everything.

Rory and Max didn’t have your typical first meet in this book . Oh no, they met on a plane that CRASHED!

Rory had no idea that the man who calmed her anxiety and took care of her after the crash was actually a player on the hockey team she now worked for – as his boss.

This book gives you a hockey romance but so much more.

I loved their strong connection but also how Rory had to overcome stereotypes as a woman working in a predominately male profession. This is one of the best!

Him is one of the best steamy romance novels according to romance book blogger, She Reads Romance Books.

Him
(Him Series)
by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy

They don’t play for the same team. Or do they?

Jamie Canning has never been able to figure out how he lost his closest friend.

Four years ago, his tattooed, wise-cracking, rule-breaking roommate cut him off without an explanation.

So what if things got a little weird on the last night of hockey camp the summer they were eighteen? It was just a little drunken foolishness.

Ryan Wesley’s biggest regret is coaxing his very straight friend into a bet that pushed the boundaries of their relationship.

Now, with their college teams set to face off at the national championship, he’ll finally get a chance to apologize. But all it takes is one look at his longtime crush, and the ache is stronger than ever.

Jamie has waited a long time for answers, but walks away with only more questions—can one night together ruin a friendship?

If not, how about six more weeks of it?

When Wesley turns up to coach alongside Jamie for one more hot summer at camp, Jamie has a few things to discover about his old friend… and a big one to learn about himself.

This is one of those books that I want EVERYONE to read because it is just so good.

Seriously – it is one of the best romance novels of all time because it is so well written, with amazing characters and a story that tugs on your heart strings.

This is a college hockey romance that reunites two friends from hockey camp that lost touch after a night of exploration.

Trust me, you’ll be a Jamie and Ryan fan for life after reading this book! It’s one of my most favorite hockey romance books and one of the best MM romances ever.

Us
(Him Series)
by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy

Five months in, NHL forward Ryan Wesley is having a record-breaking rookie season.

He’s living his dream of playing pro hockey and coming home every night to the man he loves—Jamie Canning, his longtime best friend turned boyfriend.

There’s just one problem: the most important relationship of his life is one he needs to keep hidden, or else face a media storm that will eclipse his success on the ice.

Jamie loves Wes. He really, truly does. But hiding sucks.

It’s not the life Jamie envisioned for himself, and the strain of keeping their secret is taking its toll.

It doesn’t help that his new job isn’t going as smoothly as he’d hoped, but he knows he can power through it as long as he has Wes. At least apartment 10B is their retreat, where they can always be themselves.

Or can they? When Wes’s nosiest teammate moves in upstairs, the threads of their carefully woven lie begin to unravel.

With the outside world determined to take its best shot at them, can Wes and Jamie develop major-league relationship skills on the fly?

If you read HIM then nothing will keep you from reading US where Jamie and Ryan face real world strain on their relationship now that Ryan is playing professional hockey in the NHL.

Coming out is still a touchy subject in professional sports today and this book takes a deep dive into how this may impact players.

Another fantastic book by Bowen and Kennedy.

Garrett by Sawyer Bennett is one of the best hockey romance books worth reading

Garrett
(Cold Fury Hockey Series)
by Sawyer Bennett

Carolina Cold Fury star Garrett Samuelson never wants to miss out on a single minute of fun.

Whether he’s playing hockey, hanging out with friends, or walking the red carpet with a new date on his arm, he lives every day to the fullest.

When he meets Olivia Case, he sees someone who’s exactly his type—confident, hot, smart . . . his next fling.

But the more he pursues her, the more Garrett shares a side of himself that other women don’t normally get to see.

Olivia has been keeping a secret. While Garrett lives for the next thrill, Olivia’s not sure she’ll live to see the next day.

She’s undergoing treatment for some serious medical issues, and she doesn’t have time for a relationship with no guarantees—especially one with a hot-as-sin womanizer who won’t take no for an answer.

But as she gets to know the real Garrett, Olivia can’t help falling for him . . . hard. To reveal the truth would mean risking everything—but you can’t score without taking the tough shots.

Garrett is my favorite hockey player in Sawyer Bennett’s Cold Fury series.

He’s just a fun guy but who’s a bit relentless in pursuing Olivia.

I love romances where neither party is looking for a relationship until they meet each other.

Read Garrett and then check out ALL of Bennett’s hockey romances!

Pucked Over by Helena Hunting is one of the best hockey romance books worth reading

Pucked Over
(Pucked Series)
by Helena Hunting

Lily LeBlanc isn’t versed in the art of casual, but after seven years in an on-again, off-again relationship, she’s definitely willing to give it a shot.

And who better to try it with than her best friend’s boyfriend’s best friend? What could possibly go wrong? Nothing at all.

NHL player, Randy Ballistic, lives up to his last name on the ice and in the bedroom.

His best friend and teammate has recently given up the puck bunnies and traded them in for a real girlfriend. And she just happens to have a seriously feisty, extra-hot best friend on the rebound.

Randy’s more than happy to be Lily’s spring board back into the dating scene.

Casual is only casual until those pesky things called emotions get involved. Once that happens, someone’s bound to gets pucked over.

I love every single hockey romance in Helena Hunting’s Pucked series but I have a soft spot for Randy and Lily who are probably my favorite couple.

Is it because they keep finding themselves getting it on in bathrooms because they just can’t help themselves?

Yeah, probably! 🙂 I adored this hockey romance book and you will too if you love friends to lovers romances.

The Deal is a romance book like Bridgerton that all romance lovers should read.

The Deal
(Off-Campus Series)
by Elle Kennedy

Hannah Wells has finally found someone who turns her on.

But while she might be confident in every other area of her life, she’s carting around a full set of baggage when it comes to seduction.

If she wants to get her crush’s attention, she’ll have to step out of her comfort zone and make him take notice… even if it means tutoring the annoying, childish, cocky captain of the hockey team in exchange for a pretend date.

…and it’s going to be oh so good.

All Garrett Graham has ever wanted is to play professional hockey after graduation, but his plummeting GPA is threatening everything he’s worked so hard for.

If helping a sarcastic brunette make another guy jealous will help him secure his position on the team, he’s all for it.

But when one unexpected kiss leads to the wildest night of both their lives, it doesn’t take long for Garrett to realize that pretend isn’t going to cut it.

Now he just has to convince Hannah that the man she wants looks a lot like him.

There’s a reason this book has over 125,000 ratings on Goodreads – it’s just THAT good.

This is another college hockey romance that starts off with a fake relationship where Garrett “fake dates” Hannah to improve her social status in exchange for some tutoring.

A definite must-read!

Good Boy by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy is one of the best hockey romance books worth reading

Good Boy
(WAGS Series)
by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy

Hosting her brother’s wedding for an MVP guest list is the challenge of Jess Canning’s life.

Already the family screw-up, she can’t afford to fail. And nobody – absolutely nobody! – can learn of the colossal mistake she made with the best man during a weak moment last spring.

It was wrong, and there will not be a repeat. Absolutely not. Even if he is the hottest thing on two legs.

Blake Riley sees the wedding as fate’s gift to him. Jess is the maid of honor, and he’s the best man? Let the games begin.

So what if he’s facing a little (fine, a lot) of resistance? He just needs to convince the stubborn blonde that he’s really a good boy with a bad rap.

Luckily, every professional hockey player knows that you’ve got to make an effort if you want to score.

But Jess has more pressing issues to deal with than her attraction to a giant man-child.

Such as: Will the ceremony start on time, even though someone got grandma drunk? Does glitter ever belong at a wedding? And is it wrong to murder the best man?

I was hooked on the HIM/US books so I of course had to read Good Boy which features Jamie’s sister, Jess and Ryan’s teammate Blake.

Just pick up this book to get to know Blake. This hockey stud is hilarious making this a must-read romcom.

I loved everything that comes out of his mouth. So freakin’ funny!

Taking a Shot by Jaci Burton is one of the best hockey romance books worth reading

Taking a Shot
(Play by Play Series)
by Jaci Burton

The last thing Jenna Riley needs is more sports in her life. While her brothers are off being athletic superstars, she’s stuck running the family’s sports bar, whether she likes it or not.

Then in walks pro hockey stud Tyler Anderson. As much as Jenna would like to go to the boards with him, she’s vowed to never fall for a jock-even one as hot as Ty.

Ty, intrigued by the beautiful bar owner, becomes a regular.

He senses that Jenna wants to do something more with her life. And as he gains her trust, the passion between them grows, as does Ty’s insistence that Jenna should start living for herself.

With his encouragement, Jenna starts to believe it, too…

But first, Jenna has to figure out what she wants, what she needs, who she loves, and if she has the passion and pride to take a shot at having it all-including Ty...

I loved this romance book that features the sister of a pro football and pro baseball player who wants nothing to do with athletes herself.

Ty is the hockey player that relentlessly pursues her and gets to know her dreams and deepest desires.

Oh, and they are super hot together! One of Jaci Burton’s best in the Play by Play series.

Pipe Dreams by Sarina Bowen is one of the best hockey romance books worth reading

Pipe Dreams
(Brooklyn Bruisers Series)
by Sarina Bowen

Mike Beacon is a champion at defending the net, but off the ice, he’s not so lucky.

A widower and a single father, he’s never forgotten Lauren Williams, the ex who gave him the best year of his life.

When Lauren reappears in the Bruisers office during the playoffs, Beacon sees his chance to make things right.

Lauren hates that she’s forced to travel with the team she used to work for and the man who broke her heart.

There’s still undeniable tension running between her and Mike, but she won’t go down that road again. She’s focused on her plans for the future—she doesn’t need a man to make her dreams of motherhood come true.

Lauren plays her best defensive game, but she’s no match for the dark-eyed goalie. When the field of play moves to Florida, things heat up on the beach.

One of Mike’s biggest fans doesn’t approve—his teenage daughter. But a true competitor knows not to waste the perfect shot at love.

This is one of the best hockey romances that features a second chance love story.

Mike and Lauren were a perfect fit together until they weren’t but that chemistry didn’t go anywhere now that Lauren is forced to work for the same hockey team that Mike plays for.

I also thought the single dad romance angle was a great addition to this story.

One Baby Daddy by Meghan Quinn is one of the best hockey romance books worth reading

One Baby Daddy
(Dating By Numbers Series)
by Meghan Quinn

“What are you doing now that your team is out of the running for the Stanley Cup?” Forget. I need to forget. I need an escape.

Only one person isn’t falling for my reputation as the NHL’s Golden Boy; she captured my attention the minute she called me out for snooping through my best friend’s house.

She didn’t want to hear my reason — she only wanted to playfully give me a hard time.

Adalyn is bold, sassy— and the perfect escape.

She’s everywhere. In town and in my dreams, and suddenly I need to spend every waking moment with her.

And I do, making this summer the best off-season I’ve ever had.

But in the midst of getting lost in Adalyn, what I don’t expect is to get her pregnant.

And what I definitely don’t expect is having to fight for her affection.

Hayden may be one of the most likable hockey players. He’s just so nice but such a fun guy as well.

He had a hot summer with Adalyn that ended in an oops pregnancy.

Meghan Quinn writes the best sports romance and did it again with this hockey romance.

Harmless by Nicole Edwards is one of the best hockey romance books worth reading. Check out the entire list of must-read hockey romance books on She Reads Romance Books.

Harmless
(Pier 70 Series)
by Nicole Edwards

He’s got a secret…
Roan Gregory, one of the four owners of Pier 70 Marina, has managed to paint himself as a loner in recent months.

There’s a reason for that. And he’s got every intention of keeping that reason a secret. That is, until he no longer has the option.

He’s got a secret, too…
Colton Seguine, defenseman for the Austin Arrows, has gotten good at keeping the world from finding out that he’s gay.

He knows exactly what he can and cannot do. And with whom. That is, until he sees Roan for the first time and all bets are off.

Some secrets are too big to keep. Temperatures soar when this brooding bad boy gets his first taste of this smoking hot hockey player.

Can Roan and Seg push past each other’s defenses? Or — thanks to the way the cards have been dealt — will the time they spent together prove to be just a harmless one night stand?

Harmless is another MM hockey romance but it features Colton, a hockey player who is most definitely NOT out of the closet.

His first meeting with Roam is HOT and I loved how their story unfolded to be about them and not just his fear about his orientation coming out. I highly recommend!

Heated Rivalryis one of the best hockey romance books worth reading. Check out the entire list of must-read hockey romance books on She Reads Romance Books.

Heated Rivalry
(Game Changers Series)
by Rachel Reid

Nothing interferes with pro hockey star Shane Hollander’s game.

Now that he’s captain of the Montreal Voyageurs, he won’t let anything jeopardize that—definitely not the hot rival he loves to hate.

Boston Bears captain Ilya Rozanov is everything Shane’s not. The self-proclaimed king of the ice, he’s as cocky as he is talented. No one can beat him—except Shane.

Publicly, they’re enemies. Privately, they can’t stop touching each other.

The smart thing to do? Walk away, once a few secret hookups turn into a struggle to keep their relationship out of the press. The truth could ruin them both. But for Shane and Ilya, secrecy is soon no longer an option.

This is a hockey romance book that I could read over and over again it’s that good.

The MM enemies to lovers vibe as well as the secrecy to Shane and Ilya’s relationship was a great hook that has you wanting to see where their story goes on and off the ice.

The competitive nature of these two athletes and their apparent hatred of each other only fueled their attraction and the heat between the sheets!

If you’re a fan of gay romance, you’ll love this book as well as its follow-up romance, The Long Game.

Blindsided is one of the best hockey romance books worth reading. Check out the entire list of must-read hockey romance books on She Reads Romance Books.

Blindsided
by Victoria Denault

What if Romeo wore hockey skates, and Juliet was raised on a farm next door?

As a life-long Vermonter, there are three beliefs I’ve always held true: Our family farm is everything, hockey is a close second, and the Todds next door are our sworn enemies.

But this season will test everything I stand for.

I have an illicit side job that could cost me my hockey scholarship. And now Maggie Todd knows my secret.

She’s waiting for the right moment to use it against me. But every time I face off against her, I learn things I shouldn’t want to know.

Like how deeply her competitive streak runs, and how hot that is. And how easy it is to make her blush… everywhere.

An Adler and a Todd cannot be lovers. Breaking that rule is only asking for trouble. Can we surrender to these feelings… or will our families’ feud make us its next casualty?

This college hockey romance has the best Romeo and Juliet kind of vibe that fueled the best chemistry and tension between Tate and Maggie.

I love the side job that Tate is trying to hide and how Maggie is holding that knowledge over his head to secure herself a place in his family’s booth at a local market every weekend.

But that forced proximity makes them actually come to know each other better after wading through a lot of great barbs and banter between them.

This is just one of many hockey romance books in the Moo U hockey series so check them all out!

Check out my book review of Blindsided.

Hard to Handle is one of the best hockey romance books worth reading. Check out the entire list of must-read hockey romance books on She Reads Romance Books.

Hard to Handle
(The Kincade Sisters series)
by K. Bromberg

At first, the request seemed simple—sign a new athlete to the agency. Then I found out the new athlete was none other than the most wanted man in hockey today: Hunter Maddox.

Gifted. Hot. At the top of his game. And the only man who has ever broken my heart.

If signing him will help save our family business, I’ll swallow my pride and do what’s asked.

But when it becomes clear his uncharacteristic antics off the ice are a hint of something deeper, keeping things strictly professional between us becomes more than complicated. But I know better than to cross that line.

I’ll never date a client. Not even for him.

Win the Stanley Cup and do it before time runs out. Not a small feat, but it’s what’s motivated me since the start of my career. And time is running out.

Enter Dekker Kincade. Feisty. Dogged. Damn gorgeous. The one I let get away.

I have no idea why she’s traveling with the team, but hell if resisting her is going to be easy.

But I have a job to do, and I refuse to lose sight of that end game. Even if she confuses me. Even if she sees parts of me I’ve hidden from the world.

I can’t lose focus. Not even for her.

This hockey romance became my new favorite Bromberg romance because I loved how this second chance love story wasn’t simply a matter of two people finding each other again, but really explored why they didn’t work in the first place.

Dekker is desperate to sign Hunter to help out her family’s sports agency and Hunter is desperate to win a Stanley Cup.

It was so fun seeing these two rib on each other while fighting their attraction and addressing their unique struggles. I can’t recommend it enough!

Check out my book review of Hard to Handle.

Meet Your Match is one of the best hockey romance books worth reading. Check out the entire list of must-read hockey romance books on She Reads Romance Books.

Meet Your Match
(Kings of Ice series)
by Kandi Steiner

The headline says it all, and my bosses are over the moon when the opportunity of a lifetime lands in my lap.

Of course, they aren’t aware that I’ve already met Vince Cool at an all-star gala — and that we were at each other’s throats the entire time.

It doesn’t matter that he’s the kind of hot that shows God has favorites — messy brown hair, heated hazel eyes, the smirk of a rockstar, and a scar over his eyebrow that makes every woman particularly feral.

He’s a rich, cocky playboy — a brand I’m all too familiar with, and one I’m determined to never be around again.

But after my coverage of the gala stirs up buzz, the team’s General Manager and my CEO strike a deal. To help fill the arena at home games, I’ll get up close and personal with Tampa’s new shiny toy.

Whether he’s at practice, playing in a game, partying, or drinking coffee half-naked in his condo — I’ll be there for all of it.

Vince gets under my skin like no one else. It isn’t long before that paper-thin line between hate and lust blurs, and being around him every waking minute of the day leaves no chance to escape his devilish stare.

The air crackles between us. The tension is hot enough to melt my inhibitions.

But I know the way this story ends. I’ve lived it once before.

As much as I work to guard my heart, my body is a traitor — and if this man puts his hands on me, I know I’ll submit to desire.

I thought one month with Vince Tanev was a game I could win easily. But I might have just met my match.

Clearly, Kandi Steiner has it going on when it comes to sports romance books!

I knew she could write amazing football romance books, but oh my goodness, is she already rocking it with this hockey romance and her new Kings of Ice series.

Maven is tasked to follow along with the rookie hockey player so I loved the behind-the-scenes look at his preparation to the game, but don’t even get me started on how steamy this book is. WOW!

If you like reading about hot hockey players, who can totally back up their cocky attitudes on the ice and in the bedroom, this is your book!

Check out my book review of Meet Your Match.

Always Only You is one of the best hockey romance books worth reading. Check out the entire list of must-read hockey romance books on She Reads Romance Books.

Always Only You
(The Bergman Brothers series)
by Chloe Liese

Ren has known Frankie Zeferino was a woman worth waiting for since the moment they met. She’s a master of dry delivery, has a secret heart of gold, and a rare one-dimpled smile that makes his knees go weak.

But as long as Frankie’s the team’s social media manager, she’s off limits.

Frankie is a self-admittedly blunt, grumbly grump, but even she isn’t immune to sunshiney Ren Bergman. Who could be, when he’s a six-foot-three hunk of happy with a hockey player’s physique?

Maybe in the past, Frankie would have gone for a guy like him, but since being burned too many times by people who learn about her diagnoses and see a problem, not a person, she’s wised up.

After waiting years for the right time to make his move, Ren learns Frankie plans to leave the team to pursue a new career.

But what he didn’t anticipate is how hard he’ll have to work to convince her to let him have his shot at winning her heart.

Always Only You in just one hockey romance book in Liese’s Bergman Brothers series but I loved it because I completely fell for Ren – the sweetest cinnamon roll romance hero!

Not only is he a phenomenal hockey player but he’s a man so attuned to others and he knows just how to approach grumpy Frankie and take care of her.

I loved how these two navigated their attraction while working with one another on the same hockey team.

It’s one sweet hockey romance you definitely must add to your TBR list.

  1. Avon Gale’s “Scoring Chances” series is awesome! Such a fun read. The characters are so entertaining and it’s an interesting look into the minor leagues of hockey, something I didn’t know anything about. Check it out!

    Reply
  2. Sawyer Bennett’s hockey series are smoking hot! Especially the Pittsburgh Titans and Arizona Vengeance series. Sawyer takes the time to develop the stories of each of her characters, and build the sense of real communities within each series. I have really enjoyed so many of these books. And can she write a bedroom scene! Whew!
