*spoilers*....maybe
Manhunt 1 for sure this is why.....
Things Manhunt 1 has Manhunt 2 doesn't...
1. Uncensered executions
2. Unlimited decapatations with the right weapon (Cleaver, Machete, and red lvl Wire)
3. The ability to stand over a dead hunter and smash his head like a melon with a bat
4. A scoring system and unlockables (codes, concept art and bonus levels)
5. A good well writen origional story, (for details on Manhunt 2's story problems read my post on the Manhunt 2 PS2 board about the plot holes or read the plot of "The Suffering 2" or "Fight Club" the game's plot is such a ripoff)
6. A few good boss fights, Ramerez, Piggsy, and Starkweather
7, Real replay value
8. A great overall feeling and mood, it is dark and it draws you in unlike 2
9. A strong lead character James Earl Cash is a better lead then Danny Lamb/Leo Kasper hands down, plus Cash is voiced by Batman from the animated series, thats cool
10. The way the USB headset Starkweather voice in the ear effect puts you in the game it is like he is talking to you it adds to the draw into the Cash story/experiance, you need the headset it makes the gameplay 100 times better
11. Manhunt has 24 levels (20 story 4 bonus) to Manhunt 2's 15 (14 main + alternate last level)
12. Better graphics Manhunt looks better than Manhunt 2, how often do you get to say that but it is true the graphic in Manhunt 2 were toned down and make less real so it would pass with an M
13. If you wait a while Manhunt 2 will be easy to find in any $5-$10 bin at any gamestop new realy it has only sold 50,000 copies, there is a reason for that, trust me I have one paid full price the day it came out, been kicking myself ever since.
I hope I made your decision easier these are only the top 13 reasons Manhunt is a better buy than Manhunt 2 and I hope you enjoy Manhunt as mush as I have.....have fun and happy hunting
