  4. Step 4 Select a payment method.
    Click one of the options on the right to select a payment method. The options are as follows:
    • Credit Card — Click this option to pay with a credit card.
    • Debit Card — Click this option to pay with a debit card.
    • Paypal — Click this option to pay with a PayPal account.
    • Redeem Roblox Card — Select this option if you have a Roblox gift card purchased from a retail store.
    • Other — This option displays other payment options, including Amazon Pay, SafePay Card, CVS Pharmacy, or Ethereum
  5. Step 5 Enter your payment details.
    Use one of the following options to enter your payment information:
    • Credit or Debit card — If you are using a credit or debit card, you will need to enter an email address. Then enter the card number, expiration date, CVV/CVC number on the back, the name on the card, and the zip code.

    It's at the bottom of the menu bar on the left. This displays options for how to upgrade to a premium account.

    • 450 — Receive 450 Robux per month for $4.99 per month.

    • 2250 — Receive 2250 Robux per month for $19.99 per month.
  4. Step 4 Select a payment method.
    On the right side of the page, click whichever option you want to use to pay for your subscription. The options are as follows:

  6. Step 6 Click Submit Order.
    It's the green button at the bottom of the page. Doing so will purchase your selected Premium package, which will add the appropriate number of Robux to your monthly balance.

    Tip: If you want to cancel your membership at any time, you can click the Settings gear icon in the upper-right corner. Then click Settings, click the Billing tab, and then click Cancel Membership.

Making and Selling Avatar Clothing

  1. Step 1 Make sure that you're a Premium member.
    Anybody can make a T-shirt, shirt or pants in Roblox. But if you want to sell them for money, you need to have a premium membership.
    • It costs 10 Robux to make a shirt or pants for Roblox. However, you can make a T-Shirt for free. Shirts and pants use a graphic that wraps around the body of the avatar allowing for more detail on all sides. A T-shirt is just a decal or graphic that goes on the chest of the avatar.
  2. Step 2 Open the Roblox website.
    Go to https://www.roblox.com/home in your browser. If you're logged into Roblox, doing so will open the Home page.
    • If you aren't logged into Roblox, enter your username and password in the upper-left side of the page, then click Sign In.

    Click the Create tab. It's at the top of the page and should bring you to "My creations."
  4. Step 4 Click My Creations.
    If you're not on the "My Creations" page, click the My Creations tab. It's the first tab at the top of the page.

    Select an item category. Click an item type (e.g., T-Shirts, Shirts, Pants, etc) below the "My Creations" heading on the left.
  6. Step 6 Create your clothing image file.
    To do so, first, you need to download the image template. There is a download link at the top of the page that says "Did you use the template? If not, download it here." The template shows exactly where to place the images for the front, back, top, bottom, and sides of your clothing. You can use an image editor, such as Photoshop, or GIMP to create the images for your clothing. Make sure you place your clothing artwork on a separate layer from the template. Once you are done, hide the layer with the template and save your clothing as a PNG file.
    • T-shirts don't have a template. T-shirts act more like a decal or logo that goes on the front of the avatar's torso. Whereas, regular "Shirts" have a template that wraps around the entire torso.
    • You may want to test your shirt or pants in Roblox Studio before paying to upload it to Roblox to make sure everything looks right.

    Upload the image file. To do so, click Upload file at the top of the page. Select the image file for your clothing and then enter a name for your clothing next to "Shirt Name," "Pants Name," or "T-Shirt Name." Then click Upload for 10 Robux or Upload to upload your clothing.

    It's to the right of each clothing item you have uploaded. This displays a drop-down menu.
  9. Step 9 Click Configure.
    It's usually the first option at the top of the drop-down menu that appears when you click the Gear icon. This opens up the configuration menu.
  10. Step 10 Click Sales.
    It's in the menu box on the left side of the configuration menu. This opens the Sales menu.

    It's below the menu on the right-hand side. This saves the configuration and lists your item for sale.
    • Robux earned by selling clothing or other avatar items will be held in an escrow account for 30 days. Once the 30 days is up, it will be released for you to use.[2]

Making Robux as a Developer

  1. Step 1 Download and install Roblox Studio.
    Another way to earn Robux is to create games for Roblox. Roblox studio is the main program used to create Roblox games. You can download Roblox Studio for free. To do so, go to https://www.roblox.com/create. in a web browser. Then click Start Creating. Open the installation file in your Downloads folder and follow the instructions to complete the installation.
  2. Step 2 Make a pay-to-play game.
    Most games in Roblox are free-to-play. However, you can charge Robux for access to the games that you have made. Roblox will take a percentage of your earnings. The amount they take varies but will be stated in Roblox Studio below the bar where you enter the amount you want to charge. If you are going to charge access for a game, you should also make a video trailer to let people know what they will be getting when they pay for your game. Use the following steps to charge access to one of your games:[3]
    • Open Roblox Studio.
    • Click My Games in the panel to the left.
    • Click the game you want to charge access for.
    • Click Game Settings in the panel at the top.
    • Click Monetization in the menu to the left.
    • Click the toggle switch next to "Paid Access."
    • Enter the amount of Robux you want to charge.
    • Click Save.

    If you want to keep your game free-to-play, you can still earn Robux by making purchasable items for your game. They're allowed to upload UGC items, but few know how to make them. If you get involved in the community, you may be able to get some of your items uploaded to Roblox without being a member.
    • Fill out the application when they are accepting new applicants. Pay attention to when they are accepting new applicants. Put a portfolio together and get your application in as soon as possible.
    • Keep trying. If you don't get accepted the first time, keep trying. Keep making new items, and eventually, you'll get in.
  5. Step 5 Sell Limited and Limited Unique items.
    Limited items are items that used to be regular items sold in the Avatar Store that are no longer for sale. Limited Unique items are items that are sold for a limited quantity and then become available for resale and trade once they are sold out. If you have any limited or limited unique items, you may be able to trade them with other players in order to earn Robux. You need to have a premium membership in order to do so.[7]
  6. Step 6 Make a game pass.
    Another way to earn Robux is to create a game pass for your game. A game pass allows users to pay a one-time fee for special privileges. These privileges can be anything you want. It can allow players to fly, give players double experience, double gold, etc.
    • Make sure you don't give away too many unfair advantages in your game pass. Otherwise, it could make it unfair for other players who are trying to compete.
