How do I stream music from my Android Phone to PC via Bluetooth?

I have Windows 10 installed on my PC and I want to stream music from my Android phone to my PC's speakers via Bluetooth. It used to be possible when I had Windows 7. As soon as I upgraded to Windows 10, the feature was gone. Kindly let me know if there's a work around for this.

Good day! I'm Raniel, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

Kindly follow the steps below to connect your device to your PC via bluetooth:
1. Click on the Windows icon and go to Settings (tool icon on lower left)
2. Go to Devices and click on "Bluetooth and other Devices" on the left side of the window
3. Ensure that the switch at the top is toggled to On
4. Click on "Add bluetooth or other device" and select Bluetooth
5. Choose your device from the list

I hope this helps.

Windows 10 has included the Bluetooth A2DP Sink feature that allows you to stream your music and audio from your smart phone to your PC's speakers via Bluetooth. It has been added in the May 2020 update. If you don't hae this update currently, you will have to install it manually.

Here's how to use this feature:

  1. Install the May 2020 Windows 10 update. If it's already installed then you can proceed with the next step. If it isn't then you can manually download it from HERE.
  2. Go to  Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices  and enable Bluetooth on your PC.
  3. Add a Bluetooth device. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone as well. Select your phone and pair it with your PC.
  4. Now download the Bluetooth Audio Receiver app (free) from Microsoft Store. Here's the link
  5. Install the app and select your phone inside the app and click on "Open Connection".
