Fantastic series With Twists And Turns Galore!!!

I have read all of this author's books, and this series is a favorite! We meet a cop, who wants to do right for all in his community...But several things keep getting in his way, including other cops he is Supposed to be working With!! Corruption within the Blue is tough, but even harder for a cop leaning the other way to deal with...Interesting, high-action stories that will take you into situations where you wonder what would You do!!

Jake, a new DI in this Precinct is thrown into to this sadistic crime scene and begins working it. He is hamstrung along the way by a boss who almost seems like he doesn't want the case solved. As his partner and he follow leads and instincts the come across a sex trafficking ring.. Its horrific and unbelievable what is happening. One batch of villians is worse than the next. If you like this type of storyline, go for it. But it's not for me.

This is one of the worst. Books I have ever read. Relies on the goriest murders. Unbelievable. Every other police official apart from hero is corrupt and in thrall to mystery person, “The Cabal.”

Basic mistakes of all kinds in the books

I started these books and the first mistake as on about the second page "Mini Austin Cooper" should be "Austin Mini Cooper". A Temp Detective Constable (TDC) with only 2 years as a Uniformed PC and 6 months as a TDC being seconded to a major Crimes Unit? He almost gets run down by a Black van and thinks he recognises the driver but a short time later hear there's been a robbery/murder right where he saw the van and doesn't immediately tell his senior officers. He appears to have some mental health issues and suffers from panic attacks. There is no way he would be seconded the that unit he would probably be on long term sick leave. I gave up on that Book after a few chapters but thought I would try the next book to see if it improved. I was sadly disappointed and gave up on all the books
