We arrived late evening, and a few of the people in our party wanted to sign up for new rewards cards. The rewards desk was closed for the evening, so we were sent to the poker room for new reward card sign up. We were reluctantly greeted by a man who told us he couldn't help us with a new sign up, only a reprint of an existing account. We then asked a gentleman on the floor who appeared to be a table game supervisor. He referred us to a host who explained that we would have to come back when the rewards club was open to receive a new account and any new sign up benefis. If you offer 24 hour access to your facility, it's not unreasonable to expect 24 hour service. We used the self parking deck but felt unsafe as there was no visible security, the smell of people smoking marijuana and cars screeching around the lot. The elevators from parking to the casino were dirty and did not offer a good first impression of the property.
I have been a caesars/harrahs rewards member for over 20 years and visited properties in more than few cities. When I brought my friends from central virginia to the Horseshoe in Baltimore, I was embarrassed by the property conditions and poor service.

The odds of winning at table games at the Horseshoe Casino in Md. is slim to none and your best shot is the sucker side bets at the black jack tables. Their automatic shufflers are skewed, naturally, but even the automatic shufflers are stacked. Their tables have devices to detect how many spaces are being played on the tables and their shufflers know the exact position of every card in the 8 decks in the shuffler. Their slot machines are in poor working order, particularly the video poker and they don't pay well. The casino has severely declined in the last several months.

Not worth the effort to drive to Baltimore. There are long waits to get on most table games because there are too many closed tables. Supervisors don't rate table play correctly. How can you play for over 4 hours on a table, playing $90 a hand a only be rated for 130 on your tier score. Whole atmosphere is just depressing

I’ve been coming here for over 3 years and this time around security was called because I was having too much fun. Tipping the dealers $10 and the drunk girls $15, that was too much combined with me playing holdem in the back room. Security showed up to remove me, everyone at the table could t believe that it was happening g because everyone was having a great time. Whatever, forget this place and let it rot just like the rest of this city

You can push the call button for service and it takes a long time for slot attendants to show up, this is an ongoing complaint. Also a lot of machines or either shut down or don’t work. One of my favorite machines has been down for over 4 months now. The casino reminds me of the ghetto where you see a lot of homes boarded up except it’s broken slot machines. It’s not a good look.

some time i like to go to horseshoe before work to play my return reward and my free slot well on Aug 31 2020 I get to horseshoe the system down for hours i didnt have all day to wait because I had to work .I go to the reward desk they say about a 30min it will back up. well it was longer then that .so this long wait I had to miss out using my rewards that I earned from money I lost on different day.I don't think this is fear to the customer that they lose out on something that was rewarded to them when these issues wasn't there fault. the workers at the rewards desk need to learn how to perform better customer service to satisfy there customers. Instead they just said if u don't use your rewards before they expire u just lose out on the rewards .

The casino is a Nightmare!! The supervisors are Rude especially Akin he hates women especially those of COLOR... it’s a cultural barrier for him but the Horseshoe Casino has an obligation to put constraints on how he interacts with paying customers!!! The female bathroom has broken sinks, toilets, soap dispensers and no paper towels ? Have you ever been to a Broken
Down New Casino really? Talk about lowering the bar for Baltimore it’s sad. Okay just keep driving about 15 minutes more off 100 to Maryland Live for a better experience. The sad part is even the parking structure is dirty and not well maintained SERIOUSLY!!! They close gambling tables due to lack of staff. Some really nice dealers Robert on Crisscross and Iraeshai ( great customer service) I give the dealers 5 stars I hope they can find better casino jobs

What do you want from a Casino? The answer to that question will determine if the Horseshoe is the place for you. If you’re looking for the glitz of a Vegas casino or the size of an Atlantic City one, your are going to be left wanting.

That said, if the draw for you is the opportunity to try your hand in the gambling world, see a little live entertainment and be able to eat decently while you do so. The Horseshoe will tickle your fancy.

They offer all the table games that you expect. Blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and craps. High Low and the money wheel always have players and there are plenty of slot machines. The place is two levels but I’ve rarely seen it packed enough to warrant using both. Poker is my game and their poker room is where you’ll find me when I’m there. For the volume of players they receive its a bit size challenged as you often have to wait to get a seat.

I’ve been to this casino a few times and they have a very nice variety of slots and table games. The previous area that they had for people who smoke were these pods outdoors with a few slot machines. When they first opened up they were nice but as time went by, many of the machines didn’t work and it wasn’t nearly as attractive.

So when they were opening a room for smoking I went to check it out. It was very very nice, big bar, variety of table games, video poker, and plenty of slots. And although I do smoke, the room is big and huge with high ceilings and it was not smoky at all. It was a nice surprise and a huge improvement to my experience at horseshoe

I like coming here but I hate the fact that lots of times the only $10 blackjack table is in the Terrace. It's a smoking area. They up the minimum to $15 a lot of times instead of leaving a few tens on the main floor like they should. I don't smoke at all so I have to sit in the cold, smokey area of the Terrace just to bet $10 a hand. Most casinos even have $5 minimum tables....not the Horseshoe. The only slot I love to play was the Big Bang
Theory and that's gone now. Bring it back! Overall, it is a good place to be, great restaurants, staff is usually professional and friendly.
