A VERY WARM WELCOME TO HOLYHEAD.COM!! The original web site for Holyhead, that has been a comprehensive guide to our town since May 5th 1998! Please e-mail your comments or queries to Ann – sbreeze95@aol.com

To navigate your way through this web site it is as easy as clicking to the SITE MAP. There you will see four main categories PHOTOS,LOCAL HISTORY, LOCAL INTEREST and TOURIST INFORMATION. However before you do that just scroll down this page as there are some things you might find interesting if you are local or a tourist.

In the PHOTOS section there is a large listing of photos sent to me by both local people and expats. These range from the days of the WAR right up to the PRESENT DAY. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who have sent them to me. It is very much appreciated!. When I planned the pages of HOLYHEAD.COM, I had in mind future generations who will hopefully be searching through these photos to see what HOLYHEAD was like in the past. There are of course photos of current interest – things like the construction of the A55 road into Holyhead and the building of the Penrhos Retail Park and the Celtic Gateway bridge. I hope you enjoy this section and if you have photos you would like to add please get in touch! Thanks!

In the LOCAL INTEREST section are mainly things that would be of interest to the people of HOLYHEAD like Community News, page – so you can see what’s on in Holyhead at the moment.

In the LOCAL HISTORY section is a wealth of information about just that! If you have intesting stories or history information about HOLYHEAD please E-mail if you would like it added to the local history of HOLYHEAD. Thanks! Click here to see Container terminal, Sealink & Stena ships rare photos!! – LLaingoch Carnival 1976-77
