FYI This source of the audio is from a Michael Fremer needle drop.

Really clean pressing with fantastic art work and gatefold. This was my only RSD 24' purchase and it's all I needed. Amazing!

I bought this without even realizing Gram Parsons wasn't in the band at this point. After the Amoeba Black Friday RSD special release of Gram Parsons double live album just last year i'd figured it was more Gram Parsons to collect. I was wrong. I am none the less happy with the album, it was a pleasant surprise after my initial disapointment and buyers remorse to listen to it and find it amazingly good. I had the honor of entering this and the aforementioned Gram Parsons RSD releases into discogs. As a fan of alternative rock i am finding a mellower style of music is good to relax too and not so jarring, the fact they played Wild Horses is amazing too and its conveniently the first track on side C and is the standout one IMHO for the whole album. I never listened to Burrito Bros sans Gram but now i am sincerely interested and going to give their LPs a chance after this unexpected exposure to their work. The Family Tree in the gatefold is so baffling how complex the members all switch around so much, they also didnt lean on the legacy of Gram in any way in it and stand on their own which is quite respectful, i decided to keep it as it belongs in my collection now to hear and appreciate what became of the band after Gram, still playing his songs and doing their thing. His legacy is so strong! I classify it as Gram Adjacent and will put it in my record collection alongside his works anyways.
