Pricey for an hour visit but we had a lot of fun. Was one of the better experiences during our visit to LA. Recommend that you visit if you can.

Was staying around the corner so figured I’d check it out. This was a Sunday afternoon and it was crowded, mostly because the wide sidewalk is taken up by street vendors. Most of the street vendors are selling Mexican snack food. But it was a windy day and some of their umbrellas would fall and I was worried someone would get hurt. There was also a CD selling guy and a 3 card monte scam artist (do people really still fall for that?). There are also people hawking “Hollywood tours” and people in costumes who will take a photo of you for a few. Overall it is not pleasant here but you can see the stars in the sidewalk and check that off your list.

Out on Hollywood Boulevard early and passed the Chinese Theatre- great as so few people around good time to take photos.
We called back later when it had opened and decided that the wait + numbers of people would take too long. A few extra photos of the pavement signatures and more walking- Is it worth a tour- not sure but that's for the individual.
    Certainly impressive from the outside.

The theater makes me feel like I'm on Broadway. We have seen three shows here and enjoyed ourselves every time. They have refurbished the theater and when you walk in you feel like you are back in 40s.

This is a museum FULL of nostalgia. Even if you were unfamiliar with old (and new) Hollywood, it is incredible to just be IN such an iconic, historic building. We thoroughly enjoyed our jaunt through each of the four floors and were struck by how MUCH was in the building. We even took a chance and explored the basement with the horror items, even though half of the family are big chickens!

It was quite an experience, and compared to other places in Hollywood, the price was fair, and the building was so neat!

Went for a performance of HAIRSPRAY. Half of the thrill was being in the venue where the Oscars themselves are held- this was really fun for us. Overall is a great theater- modern and sleek and seemed to have good sightlines from most seats. Good bar with some food options. Overall a good place to see a show.

Hollywood should be on ever travelers bucket list of must see and do! Where movie magic comes to life!
Go see all the places where your favorite movie was filmed!

Iconic Hollywood sign which does not like up at night. Hollywood boulevard the street never sleeps and walk of stars. TLC Chinese theatre with stars hands/feet. Universal studios park and back lot studios! So much more!

Only down fall to this area, is it dirty like many citys. Homeless is all over sadly rampant. There is tents set up every corner, roads, or nook. It incredibly sad. Been many places this is one worst. I am sure all harmless but take caution for those who my be unstable.

Not bad for a wax museum. Liked that there were props so you could take pictures next to the figures. I personally enjoyed the horror figures, the set up was great.

Some of the celebrities were spot on, others were not, but what else can you expect from a wax museum?

    Overall, not bad.

Although it must be on the list, but it is not that impressive and not that joyful. Beggers and homeless are prevalent, so take care. Walk of Fame is the main street including many popular museums, malls, Theaters, restaurants, and others.

Very cool place, obviously. A little expensive to get in, but mostly worth it. Many things to see, but not a lot. Recommend this for kids.

We were looking for something to do during off time from March Madness. Easy access, reservations requested and made prior to arrival. Walked from our hotel, unsure about parking. A bit pricey for what is there. Takes about 30-40 minutes...and we stopped to read about each exhibit. There was an adult group of us and we enjoyed it very much. Each exhibit was fun, challenging and interesting. Staff pleasant and helpful.

You will find the Capitol Records building on the outskirts of Hollywood. You do not find that many circular buildings in the US and this one certainly is well known.

Our 13 year old son plays the guitar and is in to rock music so this was a must visit place for our family. My son absolutely loved it! He spent ages in the shop testing out various guitars and loved the hall of fame hand prints out the front. There is some famous memorabilia to see too. Not just guitars, me and my daughter enjoyed the keyboard/piano section too. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Short and simple. When in Queenstown, check this place out. It gets very busy from midday so get there early and watch all the action. When we arrived there was no queue, by the time we left people were queuing out the door. The Burgers are great quality and well worth the money. Enjoy!

I wouldn't come without kids, the kids found it good but that's because its basically an amusement arcade where you pit yourself against various records or answer Q&A on screens.

There's a few written displays on the walls about various records, but these were by-passed for the more interactive attractions!

As I say, its ok with kids, but for adults there has to be something better to do with your day.
