Tuesday marks 20 years since violent storms swept through the Pittsburgh area, including a deadly microburst that hit Kennywood Park in West Mifflin.A woman from Monroeville died when the winds ripped apart the pavilion on The Whip ride.The storms damaged other parts of West Mifflin as well as Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood, leaving hundreds of people without power for days.
