The Caswell County Regiment was a regiment in the North Carolina militia, under the authority of the Hillsborough District Brigade. The regiment recruited out of Caswell County, of which it shares its name.
History[]
The Caswell County Regiment was formed out of the North Orange County Regiment following the 1777 division of Orange County; it changed its name to Caswell alongside its county.
