After kicking out former frontman Scott Weiland, Stone Temple Pilots needed a new frontman, so they chose Chester Bennington, formerly of Linkin Park. Chester breathed new life into the group; soon after getting together they released the High Rise EP. The EP had the classic STP style to it, but with new vocals from Chester.
