What I like most about Malone University is the community. Everyone is super welcoming and encouraging to students and you are able to go to almost any one for advice or help. The teachers do a good job engaging with the students and teaching the class as well. I ran track and my coaches were very encouraging and supporting throughout my semester. I also worked a work study job, which is nice because the work study jobs offer you a chance to make more money while still at school. We have activities that are available throughout the semester.
This school has caused a rapid decrease in my mental health and made me feel inadequate as a student. They do focus a lot on the students but they are so strict with no grace for their students and I think that as a Christian college, that is completely ridiculous.
Conservative. I only was able to engage in challenging and interesting conversations through specific professors. Homophobic ideals and the values were too conservative for me.
