This is a very good site. The pitches are generous, and privacy is enhanced by mature hedging between rows. You'll need chocks on some pitches to keep your camper even, as the site rests at the foot of the Chilterns with easy access to the Oxfordshire Way, a real plus if you're a walker. The toilets and showers are very clean which is a requirement these years, with cleaners working hard from very early to pretty late. So hats off to them. There is an excellent canteen which serves a range of traditional English breakfasts but also vegetarian and vegan, if you're not too vegan. Evening meals are served till 9pm. The chef is a bit of an expert on Mexican food having spent time in that country and he knows how to make real tacos, enchiladas and burritos etc. We ate there a couple of times. But Henley is a ten minute walk away and there are loads of restaurants pubs etc to choose from. Also many walks along the river and up onto the Chiltern way. There's a swimming pool which these days is not open due to covid restrictions, understandable but disappointing. The wifi is patchy but at least it is included in the overall price unlike other sites where it is an extra expense. And at the reasonable prices Swiss Farm charges for September the campsite is well worth a stay.

We have just returned from a lovely break away at Swiss Farm. The site was very clean and clear instructions and details on additional deep cleaning that takes place regularly (Covid-19)

Positioned in a lovely location of green hills and fields but still in walking distance of the town and amenities.

We opted for finding quieter/hidden locations rather than spending too much time in the town. Explored Remenham, Aston, Shiplake and into the Chiltern Hills.

Kids found some great spots to swim in the river - some we returned to several times.

Onsite the lake drew the fishermen but sadly no fish caught. Plenty of space to walk the dog and easy access to local footpaths. Lovely views from the Oxfordshire way!

Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Hope to return in the not too distant future.

Another great stay at Swiss farm and the team done a fantastic job keeping the facility clean and safe. The shower / toilet blocks were spotless and cleaned on a regular basis 2 or three times a day.

We had originally booked for the rewind week and chose to keep the booking even through rewind had been cancelled. We are so pleased we did as we got to see a lot more of what is on offer at Swiss farm and the wider area of Henley than we normally do .

keep up the great work guys and see you next august ( yes we have already booked for 2021 )

From the minute you drive onto the site you know that you've made the right choice. Check in was easy, all done via email prior to your stay and your pitch is already allocated so no driving round looking for an empty one. We were on a fully serviced pitch which was very spacious, level and well maintained with good hedging. There are two amenity blocks on site, one by the tent fields and another more central for the caravans/motorhomes. I used both and they were always spotless (and I'm fussy). No restrictions on entry to the toilets or showers, it was made easier with them being separate so never had to queue. Plenty of hand sanitisers around, even at the bin station and blackboards notifying when the area was last cleansed/disinfected. Felt totally safe which is what you want whilst on holiday so shout out to all the cleaners for doing such a good job. Lovely cafe serving delicious food to eat in or take away, shop selling essentials and a little farm shop selling veg & fruit. There is a superb dog walking area, more of a field, where you can exercise your dog safely off the lead. A beautiful fishing lake and wildflower meadow provided a leisurely stroll of an evening.

The staff were always very helpful and friendly and were constantly working on the upkeep of the grounds and pitches, everything was immaculate.

A short 10 min walk and you are in Henley with its lovely shops, cafes and restaurants not to mention the boats by the river. We went on a river cruise and also hired a small boat. Directly outside the site there is a bus stop which will take you into Marlow or Reading in the other direction. Henley train station is approx 10 mins where you can catch a train to Windsor (2 changes). Nice walks along the river (no cycling allowed).

Thank you Swiss Farm for a fantastic holiday. Can honestly say this is the best site I have stayed on and cannot fault it in any way. Since we arrived home I have recommended it to so many people and its one for us to return to in the future.

We have toured with our caravan to many places across the UK and I have to say that Swiss Farm is one of the best for location, tranquility, easy access for public transport (bus stop outside), the site was pristine and very pretty, you can see that a lot of effort has been put in to making this site a special one. The walk into Henley takes less than 10 Mins and there is hill walking direct from the site. We will definitely be back.

We booked for a week, in the middle of July. It had only been reopened for a week so we thought there might be no facilities and we’d be just in our motorhome, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The shower block was open but only 3 at a time and absolutely spotless. Each pitch was cleaned thoroughly and sanitised after each visitor . The check in was online so no need to go into reception just used entry code but the park was fairly busy very clean and the bar restaurant was open for bookings all socially distanced. We sat in garden area. The whole stay was lovely people all seemed so glad to be out and friendlier than normal stopping to talk as passing but all very careful and aware of safety. It was lovely to sit outside. Staff were so friendly nothing too much trouble. The pool wasn’t open but the fishing lake was and lovely dog walks and walkable to the town which was slowly reopening. An absolutely lovely week but still felt very safe. We have stayed here several times. This site is probably one of the nicest we have visited.we have booked to go back again for a weekend in September it was so good.

What a fabulous site. From my initial booking enquiry to the moment we departed through their automatic vehicle registration recognition barrier the whole experience was a delight.

Attention to the extra requirements for a COVID safe environment were carried out to a really high standard and all facilities were spotless and superbly maintained.

The site is a 5 minute walk into the centre of Henley where any shopping you may wish to do will be in a beautiful setting. We explored lots of South Oxfordshire on bikes and by foot from here. Masses of river side routes and quiet roads to enjoy.

We didn’t use the on site cafe but it was handy to pick up essentials in the site shop at reception. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We shall definitely return. Thank you.

Well ... what can we say. We had booked two nights at Swiss Farm during the week and cannot praise this site highly enough. The facilities were ‘second to none’ and listening to background music whilst showering was extremely pleasant! There was an on-site restaurant where we ate breakfast and dinner and, again, cannot fault the quality of the food offering. The staff were also extremely professional and very welcoming. We will certainly be returning again and have already recommended this site to friends.

We stayed here recently , we chose Swiss Farm due to its location to the town
There is no denying this site is immaculately kept. The grounds are well manicured and facilities are cleaned regularly.
Our pitch was furthest from the main reception and cafe and had a shower and toilet block with washing up facilities. The main facilities near reception are much larger and also have a launderette
The cafe is very nice with lovely food. However it doesn’t open in the evening which is a shame except for opening weds for pizza night and Friday and Saturday so after 8 there is no bar or food facilities on site. Not that this is an issue when Henley has some amazing places to drink and eat.
We had a fully serviced pitch which was gravel and grass and found even with four high riser ramps the pitch was still not level for our Motorhome so bear in mind you will need to have risers for your motorhome we did think that being a five star site the pitches would be more level in this area
We did find a little misleading the mention of automated toilet cassette cleaner machine. This is near the main facilities but is not offered as an included service it is an extra pay for usage which isn’t mentioned on the main site so again worth noting, there are however general chemical waste facilities which are adequate but basic outside where the general waste bins are
The outside swimming Pool looked very nice but is unmanned so you would need to stay with your children
As I said the site is immaculate but with the quiet rules it appears very silent and formal at times.
Saying this we would possibly return at some point

Just got back from a three night stay. Swiss Farm is an absolute gem of a campsite. Stayed on a grass pitch 17 in a VW camper van , pitch was huge and really close to the shower and toilet block which was spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly, had drinks in the onsite restaurant and all COVID guidelines were being adhered to. Site is very close to Henley only a 10 min walk away. Hope to visit again in 2021 😀

If you can go to google earth find the small lake to the north of the camping areas. They are on the south side of the lake. I hope this helps you.
