Sis Levin (Marlo Thomas) is the wife of Jerry Levin (David Dukes) kidnapped in Lebanon by Muslim fundamentalists. The government wants to cover up the incident so as not to endanger the journalist's life. At her wits' end, Sis herself begins negotiations with the kidnappers to get her husband released.
