Being a member of international agreements on climate protection and air pollution control it is Germany’s declared aim to reduce the greenhouse gases and air pollutants. The Thünen Institute provides the data for the areas of agriculture, forestry and other land use – the current time series from 1990 to 2022 and an estimate for 2023 are now available.
