I liked it even if I didn't understand it. We were in the area to see the Sweetest Heart of Mary Church, which looks beautiful, but was closed due to Covid. The Heidelberg project is unique and you should see it. It takes about 10 minutes.

This is certainly interesting "art". It's sort of like trash but yet organized in an artful way. It's not very big and we just did a quick 5 minute drive by. There looks to be a stand in the middle where you could get some more info and possibly a formal tour?

Many of the neighborhoods in Detroit have lost so many houses that the spaces in between the remaining homes is kind of park like with large areas of open space. This neighborhood has incredible public art in the open spaces and it is truly impressive and spooky. So much history in Detroit, good and bad, and this project really reflects that in a deep way.…
