By focussing the story on Harry (a leaner and slightly meaner Daniel Radcliffe) and his exploits, Yates dispenses with many of the novel's subplots and is able to push the story forward, ominously foreshadowing the dark times to come.

Fantastic adaptation, glorious affects, and superb acting. While the rest of the Harry Potter movies focus on the world this one focuses on the characters, and was conveyed by everyone's amazing acting. This did a fantastic job of deciding what to keep and what to get rid of which is a fantastic accomplishment considering it is the longest of the books. In fact this contains Danial Radcliffes favorite scene.
