Randall L. “Randy” Henning, 60, passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, MO, Tuesday, October 27, 2020.
He was born April 6, 1960, in Lexington, MO, the son of the late Harlan and Mary Ann (Rist) Henning. He was a Blue Springs, MO resident since 1983. Randy was a member of Timothy Lutheran Church, Blue Springs, MO, and he was the Owner & Operator of Randy’s Personal Auto Service, since 1993.
On July 18, 1981 he married his high school sweetheart, Susan Schnakenberg in Concordia, MO, she survives of the home. Other survivors include their children, Lindsey Bragg and husband Isaiah, Blue Springs, MO, Nicholas Henning and wife Kristen, Blue Springs, MO, Lisa Wilson and husband Andrew, Buckner, MO, his brother, Robert Henning and wife Bev, Spring Hill, KS, his sister, Carol Henning, Blue Springs, MO, as well as six grandchildren, Alexa, Landon, and Leah Bragg, Joel Henning, Sage and Harrison Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Keith Henning.
Randy was a true lover of all sports. He loved his Royals and Chiefs and the Mizzou Tigers. His family was his pride and joy and will always be remembered for the amazing husband, father, papa, and friend he was.
Cremation has taken place and visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with a memorial service following at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 7, 2020, all at Timothy Lutheran Church, 425 NW R.D. Mize Road, Blue Springs, MO, 64014. Due to Jackson County COVID-19 regulations masks will be required in the church at all times. Memorial contributions in Randy’s name may be given to the Liggett Trail Special Education Center where his grandchildren go to school, in care of Meyers Funeral Chapel.
