Perfect stop for young and old
Really great exhibits. You can follow the business history, the technology and the market with well documented exhibits. The central attraction are the bikes, which are masterfully displayed. There are separate display areas for off road, racing, and engines. I particularly liked seeing the Harley delivery vehicles. Of course, at the last display, you can climb on a few to get those fantasy photos! You don't need to love motorcycles to love this museum.

    So glad we did this!
My husband, a past Harley owner for years, couldn't wait to visit this museum. I am not a motorcycle enthusiast, yet found this to be one of my favorite stops in Milwaukee. Loved seeing this history of this iconic brand and enjoyed sitting on some of the newer bikes. Make this a Milwaukee must!

    Fun Stop
This was a fun experience! The history is amazing and seeing the vintage bikes was great. I enjoyed the exhibit of motors and the wall with the different gas tanks was interesting. Overall, just a good experience for a couple of hours. I would highly recommend, even if Harleys aren't your big thing.

    Motorcycle Museum
The museum is situated in the southern part of Milwaukee near the Menomonee River. The history of the legendary Harley Davidson motorcycle is fascinating and this unique museum gives an excellent opportunity to have a closer look at some of these unique machines. Exhibits include several historic models in excellent condition and it is really nice to take a walk along the river. There is also a nice gift shop with a huge selection of Harley Davidson merchandise and a good restaurant on the site. It is possible to spend several hours in here and the museum is definitely worth a visit.

    Highly recommended
Absolutely loved it at The Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee. It’s got everything from when Harley Davidson first started. They have 1 model of every bike manufactured . We did the private tour and went behind the scenes and had a very knowledgeable tour guide that told us the whole Harley Davidson story as well as looked at the full full collection . Highly recommend the Harley Davidson Museum The restaurant was excellent and served delicious food and had a bar . Came all the way from Australia to visit and glad we did .

This museum is not worth the money. Yeah there are a lot of cool motorcycles to see, but it’s very repetitive. There is an audio guide available but we didn’t do it because it was going to be an extra $5 per person. It’s nice to learn about the history of the company, but it’s very boring otherwise. No food or drinks are allowed in the museum. As someone who needs to stay hydrated all the time, it was very frustrating to not be allowed to take bottled water. I mean I get it because it’s a museum, but they need to at least allow bottled water. There are cool photo opportunities at the end. The store is cool, but other than that, not worth the price.

We paid $60 to visit the museum. It was a lot of history of Harley Davidson and plenty of classic bikes to see, but I’m not sure what I’m paying for here?! It’s just this is half the cost of an annual family membership to any Chicago major museum and I think you can spend your money elsewhere. Even if you’re a Harley lover, $20 a piece is steep for this place. The gift shop is also super expensive but there are items you won’t find anywhere else. But know a Harley patch jersey is $195 as example.

Being a huge fan and considering these motorcycles world's most sophisticated and beautiful, visiting this museum was the top reason for our day trip from Chicago.
I found the entry fee slightly over 20$ reasonable for exhibition spreading on 2 floors and top vault.
Museum is well organized. The first floor (where you enter) starts with founding explanations, first models produced, HD role in WWI and WWII as well in almost all public services.
Most interesting on the lower floor (ground floor) for me were the custom made and decorated models which are indeed work of art.

Not sure what the bad reviews are about! This is an amazing museum full of history. There are circa 1200 bikes to look at including the first one ever built and I had no idea that Harley provided circa 88k bikes to the military. We went at 10:30am which was great for social distancing. Everything was clean with hand sanitizer stations everywhere. All staff had masks and you are required to wear masks while in the museum which is great. We also saw employees regularly walking around and spraying areas. You can also sit on some of the 2020 bikes at the end.

Visited this museum with my wife. I realized that this museum is either you love it or you don't really like it. I notice that approx (guesstimate) 80% of the viewers are males which kinda makes sense.

Museum is well laid out 2 story building. Inside you will see a history of the start of Harley Davidson and how they started, the awards they won and a string of vehicles from their earliest models to the latest one.

There is an onsite restaurant but we did not go there as our next stop was the Milwaukee Public Market.

Very nice gift shop. Please don't fail to visit it.

Dont' forget to find the motorcycle Captain America used in his 2008 movie. It is on display there.

While there we saw a guy on a Harley with his motorcycle riding German Shepherd dog!

Tried to Go was not allowed in with services Dog.
So my dad is visiting in town and got tickets for him and I to check it out. From online through Groupon We brought his service Dog when we got there they said they would not let us in with a service Dog. nothing was given in writing of an official policy that they did not allow services dogs. nor would they give my dad a refund. So have no clue how the museum is but I will not try again after there treatment. Do not recommend people checking it out. If you do check it out make sure you know ahead of times the discriminate against service Dogs.

As an average guy with a family visiting Wisconsin for the first time, we arrived in Milwaukee with an eagerness to see and learn about this great state. The Harley Museum was our first stop and our entire family really loved it. From the moment you enter the staff is friendly and welcoming.. they even gave me suggestions for taking pictures at different angles for a better picture.

What we really liked:
1) We knew Detroit was know for making cars but we didn't know how important Milwaukee was as they made motorcycles.
2) We didn't know the history of motorcycles and how the role they played in wars and how important they were to the military.
3) It was really cool to see all the movies we have liked over the years feature people riding a Harley, which are prominently displayed. My favorite was Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator!
4) There were hardly any people visiting and we enjoyed the feel of sitting on the one, which they clean after each person.

If you go on Saturday they have demo rides

We really appreciated that every person working there was so friendly and welcoming.

It was the highlight of our visit to Milwaukee!!

Great attraction!

It was only $22.00 to enter. For $27.00 you could get an annual pass. This is the story of an iconic American company. Even if you are not into bikes you will find the history of Harley Davidson intriguing. I liked the part where at the end you can sit on actual modern Harleys. The museum is right outside of downtown. The museum is a few minute walk from the Potawatomi casino/hotel.

Absolutely worth the fee and time. This location shows all about the history of Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Upper level mainly all about the different models during the course of time. In the basement the younger models but also the influence of AMF as well as Harley and movies.
