Happy new year is a film which didn't had any reason to go wrong if you look at its cast, budget and crew. But the writing is so bad that the performances feel lazy and the film which is designed to be flashy comes off as bland. The only saving grace is its music.

This took me totally by surprise. I expected just goofiness. I was goofy, but it was brilliant comedy. The characters were great and the plot had great twists. I was actually delighted it was three hours long!
