I recently had the pleasure of staying at [HamersmithPremier Inn and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality that lasted throughout my entire stay.
The room I stayed in, comfortable, and a stunning view of the city . The bed was incredibly cozy, ensuring a restful night's sleep,

Amazing show, London is my favourite place. Never short of something to do.
Venue has Freddie Mercury history also.
Plenty of fine places to wine and dine. 👍
Queen had not had a gig since the 1970s.
Hammersmith is full of character and a must for anyone who liked lots of activity!
Highly reccomended. 👍

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Chef made us special halal chicken for dinner and halal sausages for breakfast.
They even guided us with taxis and prices. They went out of the way to hell us in any way.
Room was very comfortable and clean. I will definitely come back again.

On a recent visit to London, my friends and I used the tube from Earls Court to Hammersmith. While at Hammersmith station we used the public toilets. The woman in charge of the Ladies toilet is definitely the rudest person we have ever met, and she seriously needs do with a crash course in 'Customer Care Skills'! To get into the toilet area my friend and I put 50 pence each in the machines, but the barrier never opened and the money got lost. I rang the bell for assistance and this 'Loud mouthed' person appeared, shouting at me to stop ringing the bell. i explained what had happened and reluctantly she allowed me in, but would not allow my friend unless she paid more money. While my friends were getting more money another customer with a baby asked where the 'Baby Changing' facilities were? The attendant replied 'we don't have any.' The customer asked where could she go to look after the baby and the attendant replied 'How do i know, your child is not my problem!!' my friend and another customer told the attendant that she was the rudest person they had ever come across, and a male attendant that had just come along agreed with them. He said that's the way she speaks to people every day! Its mind boggling as to how this woman got a job dealing with the public....

Used to live in the area years ago and it hasn't really changed very much. King St is a good shopping street containing the usual high street brands, but everything you need. There are some fine houses and contains a mix of social housing as well. The underground station is also a major bus interchange station as well, so useful for getting around west London. There's also two shopping centres in the area, one inside the underground station and the other on King Street.
The Hammersmith Bridge across the River Thames is worth a small detour if you're in the area. There's no real reason for the average tourist to visit Hammersmith though.

I have known Hammersmith since I started school here some 34 years ago. I visited recently and one thing had not changed - King Street. King Street has always been grotty and generally there are some unsavoury characters hanging around so it gives a poor impression of what is a very nice area. Shopping though is pretty poor despite some big name stores and a relatively modern shopping centre over the main tube station so for great shopping catch the tube 5 mins to Wood Lane for Westfield or get a bus - 10 mins or so.
As far as Hammersmith goes almost any direction from King Street is good apart from down Fulham Palace Road which is also grotty.
The Thames is a short walk away and rewards you with a view of the lovely Hammersmith Bridge as well as a number of beautiful and characterful pubs especially on the stretch between Hamersmith bridge and Chiswick where there are also a couple of museums - 7 Hammersmith Grove and William Morris museum (near the back of Latymer School). The River is a lovely place to walk. My choice is the North bank toward Chiswick - you can vist Chiswick House, Hogarth's House and Fullers Brewery and then walk along to lovely Strand on The Green and Kew (cross over Kew Bridge).
For a circular walk head across Barnes Bridge and back on the South side to Hammersmith Bridge - a walk of some 5 miles from Hammersmith station. You can pop into Barnes vilage half way round which is quiant.
If you don't hed for the River then maybe walk around the back streets toward Ravenscourt Park which is nice in itself and the side roads toward here and Goldhawk Road Station are nice with some great pubs. Also heading toward Brook Green is very pleasant.

A great riverside walk, starting 5 mins from Hammersmith tube. The Mall is the start of the riverside towpath on the north bank of the river heading west from Hammersmith Bridge. It features breathtaking views west down the river, delightful historic houses and no fewer than five wonderful pubs (heading west they are the Blue Anchor, the Rutland, the Dove, the Ship and the Black Lion) all of which allow you to sit outside on tables next to the river. Facing south, the walk is a real sun trap in summer. The Blue Anchor dates from 1722, the Dove is a delight (but small) and the Black Lion has the most wonderful garden with a several hundred years old tree in it. Plus this stretch of the river is a section of the university Boat Race. Spectacular sunsets on summer evenings.

When we first moved to London, we stayed with friends in Hammersmith. It's a lovely area with all of the main supermarkets, coffee shops and some decent restaurants. The tube station there is great too as you can get just about anywhere in London just from the one station. As much as I highly recommend it as a place to live and as a suburb for Londoners, it's not really worth a special trip for those visiting London and staying in the city centre.

Stayed in Hammersmith twice last year at The Novotel and Premier Inn. Great shops, great bars, lots of lovely places to eat, Belushi's, The Hampshire Hog, the Lyric Sq Roof Garden, the list is endless. Some good shops. Tesco extra, small Sainbury's etc. Great links into central London. Ravenscourt Park is a must if you have young children, so much to do, if your going to Summer, take swim gear and a towel for the paddling pool. Fab.
Hammersmith Bridge and Thames walk are worth a look. We went in July and October always lots to do and i felt safe on my own with kids walking back to the hotel when it was dark at 5pm.

Not that I saw, however there is lots of street side, free parking nearby, and side street parking. I think you could get within 200 feet quite easily.
