The stars have aligned.
Oscar winner Halle Berry says it was finally her time to find Mr. Right.
“It was finally my time and the right one finally showed up,” Berry, 55, gushed to Entertainment Tonight about boyfriend Van Hunt during the Elle’s 2021 Women in Hollywood event on Tuesday.
Berry confirmed her romance with Hunt in September 2020 by sharing a photo of herself wearing a T-shirt with the 51-year-old musician’s name on it, writing “now ya know… ♥️🦶🏽.”
Hunt shared the same photo on his Instagram and added, “there you go…”
Since then, the couple has professed their love for one another on social media and in interviews.
“The inspiration for our relationship goes across everything, even in my parenting,” Hunt said earlier this year. “I’m a completely different person, I can say it like that, and I think that it’s improved every aspect of my life.”
Berry continued her theme of posing in her boyfriend’s merch when she shared a photo of herself pantsless wearing a Van Hunt tour T-shirt on Instagram last December in celebration of his birthday.
“A real woman can do it all by herself, but a real MAN won’t let her. Happy birthday VanO. I only wish I’d known you sooner so I could have loved you longer!❤️” she wrote alongside the racy snap.
It’s been a bumpy road to happily ever after for Berry.
She was previously married to baseball player David Justice from 1993 to 1997, singer Eric Benét from 2001 to 2005, and Olivier Martinez — with whom she shares 7-year-old son Maceo — from 2013 to 2016. She also shares a 13-year-old daughter, Nahla, from a long-term relationship with Gabriel Aubry from 2005 to 2010.
Meanwhile, Hunt has an 18-year-old son from a previous relationship.
