My experience at Haddonfield Memorial High School has been very pleasant. The academics are top-notch and there are plenty of interesting school events as well as clubs/extracurriculars. I would personally appreciate more funding for the music program; but other than that it has been great.
Haddonfield Memorial High School is recognized as one of the best schools for good reason. They are focused on providing the best education with high-caliber teachers who challenge them. The school has an excellent curriculum that prepares them for college. Their athletic program strives to bring out the best in student athletes as well as providing a winning team atmosphere.
I like the teachers and they know what they’re teaching. Also the courses offered are great! I like having the senior trip at the end of the year. They help you adjust to freshmen year well.
I was new to educational system in the United States, but the school’s stuff and my classmates helped me to get used to it really fast. I found great friends, developed my soft and hard skills, and what is the most important - found things I am passionate about!
I love all of the teachers I've had, all are very understanding and great at helping. I also loved being able to have more opportunities as a senior.
Great School. Some issues with college readiness due to technical complications. otherwise, great! All the counselors and teachers were really nice and supportive.
I attended HMHS as a freshman and transferred after my first year. Everything you hear about Haddonfield is true, all the kids single people out, Mommy and Daddy pay for everything, everyone is rich, and everyone has an expensive car. If you are a superior athlete or student then you get recognized, if you are not though, then you are laughed at and pushed away. I got horribly bullied in high school. I got threatened to get beaten up in the Bathroom, hallway, robbed, body slammed in the boys football locker room, name called, you name it. While all of this was happening, the school did nothing to guarantee my safety or trust because they did not do anything about it, even when a teacher heard and witnessed the bullying, the school failed to do something and then the football team treated me horrible after. The teachers and classes are good but the experience is horrible. The administration is a joke and they only care about the reputation and they care more about that than the student
The teachers here are great and the atmosphere is one that makes you want to succeed. I have been happy with my time here.
HMHS has really good, strong academics that I believe have helped prepare me for college next year. Many of the teachers are extremely nice and are genuinely willing to help you succeed. The counselors are wonderful as well and were a great help during my college application process.
I thinks it’s a challenging school with work that does push you and will hopefully prepare me for college. Theres all different level courses for each subject which is good if you are more passionate about something then something else. I took advanced and ap science, math, and English, and cp history. There’s a lot of opportunities to make new friends because there are so many different sports and clubs you can do. I did 3 different sports and I met a different group of people in each one. However, a lot of teachers and staff preach about mental health and others things but there is not actions done to actually help this.
Great school, varied academics offered, good counseling and academic advising supports, numerous clubs and activities offered, students do feel that they are important, Principal, Vice Principal and Dean of Students are all very responsive
HMHS is a great school. It provides outstanding academics that allow students to go to some of the top colleges in the nation.
The education is very good, I just didn't get the opportunity to make many friends. The classes are very good and you learn a lot from your teachers. The atmosphere is very competitive and there is an expectation to do well. The facilities are decent but there are some classrooms that are a little worn-down. There is little diversity but it is very safe and there are a lot of clubs and activities.
Haddonfield Memorial High school is one of the best schools in terms of academic opportunity and sports. My experience with it over the past 4 years has been a bit of a rollercoaster, but at the end of the day, I am grateful that I was able to get my high school education there. I have had so many teachers that I look up to, and a lot of them are what made my experience so much more enjoyable.
Haddonfield Memorial High school is like no other. The teachers show they truly care about you and your success.
It's a good school with good sports and classes. Not much diversity, kinda racist tbh but there's diversity training not like that;s doing much.
HMHS is very competitive when it comes to academics and teachers tend to favor those who are overachievers. Sports are extremely important to everyone and if you don't play one, you're automatically an outcast. Most of the friendships form in elementary school/middle school from sports and if you're new to the district in high school, good luck. Other than that, the teachers are very well-educated and great at their craft, academics and sports are top-notch, but the music program is horrible. Diversity is nearly nonexistent and most minorities get made fun of. The school pride is fantastic as well as the clubs and activities(many volunteer clubs) and spirit week is a blast! Definitely recommend if you're an athlete and want to be college-ready academically!
