This does not include Portugal as Queen Maria and King Peter III are unfortunately not his descendants however can trace their lineage back to his Aunt.

He's pretty much Europe's father-in-law, the ancestor of everyone's wives.

I like the take however by the year 1800 when the graph is “set” he is the direct ancestor of almost all of Europe’s monarchs

Nice job 👌

George I of Great Britain was also a grandchild of George I of Brunswick-Lüneburg! 😁

Hence he is on the chart, this simply shows monarchs in the year 1800 but it does pass through him

The chart has a king of England called George but there has been no king of England called George.

I’m a bit confused, there have been 6 Georges as king of England

There has not been one person crowned king of England called George.

Oh shit, I will make a trace this line including some non reigning royals in the future. Maybe

What kinda thing do you mean, if it’s interesting enough I might be able to add it myself

Like, go even further the current descendants.

I suppose I could do, down toward the monarchs of Europe today, or those that came later in the 19th century

King of Prussia too via both King George I's sister and daughter.

You could also add Louis XVI but then the common ancestor would be George, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg the father of George and this would allow you to add Frederick William III of Prissia too. This would kind of complete the original idea that I had of "the enemies of Napoleon" when I suggested it to you

Good job. Just a couple of things. First, your links are designed in such a way that it seems like Charles III of Spain's children seem not to be from his marriage to Maria Amalia of Saxony. Second, you might as well have added the king of Naples and Sicily. Finally, in addition to the monarchs of Portugal, there is another king in 1800 who, as far as I can tell, did not descend from George I of Brunswick-Luneburg: the king of Sardinia.

Thanks for the comments, I’ll have a look and probably move some stuff around

This comment was actually quite useful, you’re right Charles Emmanuel IV was king of Sardinia and had no relation to George I of Brunswick Luneburg however is a direct descendant of his uncle, I’ve also added on the king of Naples and Sicily, I can’t quite figure out what you meant by the Charles III comment though

Look closely at the link above Charles IV and his sister. It starts from Charles III instead of starting from the middle of the link between him and Maria Amalia. Therefore it seems that their children are not actually the children of Maria Amalia but rather of Charles III with some other woman not shown on this chart. This can be solved by simply moving their descendants a little bit to the left, so that they are centered between their parents.

Oh my apologies, I was looking at the chart now and I’d already corrected that so I was quite confused, you’re right though it was wrong in the image
