Lithuanian Ambassador Visits the University of Greifswald

H.E. Ramūnas Misiulis, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania, visited the University of Greifswald on 11 April 2024. He signed the university’s guest book in the Aula and took part in the podium discussion on the EU expansion 20 years ago.

The Lithuanian Ambassador also visited the University of Greifswald’s Department of Baltic Studies and held conversations with members of staff. He met with the Rectorate to discuss key fields of research and possible future collaboration.

COVID-19 Apparently Does Not Infect Brain Cells

A significant number of COVID-19 patients reported cognitive impairment both during the acute infection phase and after the illness. Other neurological symptoms such as fatigue and tiredness were also often experienced. A study sheds new light on the underlying mechanisms of these symptoms.
