Mike Greenberg’s wife gives inside look at ESPN host’s Aaron Rodgers torture

Mike Greenberg’s wife is sharing a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s really like working at ESPN as a diehard Jets fan while on Aaron Rodgers watch.

Greenberg, the “Get Up” host, is “on edge” as he awaits the quarterback’s decision about his playing future — and a potential Rodgers-Jets union.

Stacy took to Twitter Monday to share a photo of Greenberg appearing exhausted while sitting at a table with his phone in one hand and his glasses in the other.

The 55-year-old Greenberg, whose computer was sitting open in front of him, was pictured with his head in his hand.

“Here’s how it’s going,” Stacy wrote, adding the hashtag, “#Jets.”

On Friday, Stacy shared another photo of Greenberg on Twitter, that showed the ESPN personality on his phone while the two were out to dinner.

“Dinner date,” Stacey wrote. “Anytime, Aaron. Anytime. #Jets.”

The Jets and the Packers, who met in Malibu last Tuesday, remain engaged in conversations about compensation and contract.

Rodgers could decide to return to the Packers for a 19th season, ask for a trade, or retire for good.

Greenberg obviously wants the four-time NFL MVP to sign with the Jets.

Stacy shared more photos of Greenberg appearing distracted amid the Rodgers madness, and included their dog, Phoebe.

On Thursday, she shared a snap of Greenberg petting their dog and wrote: “Someone tell him I simply cannot talk about this anymore.” #Jets.”

Last Tuesday, Stacy shared a text exchange with Greenberg on Twitter, with the caption: “In case you were wondering how he’s handling all this: #Jets.”

The screen-grab showed Greenberg turning down dinner plans and cancelling another event due to the Rodgers saga.

“This Rodgers stuff is too much,” Greenberg wrote when Stacy asked about having an “early dinner” together.

“Can’t focus on anything else. Give away the theater tickets for tomorrow too.”

ESPN NFL reporter Kimberley A. Martin, who often appears on “Get Up” with Greenberg, wrote: “This Rodgers stuff has our boy completely unhinged.”

In a separate post, using the hashtag “Jets,” Stacy shared a selfie with Greenberg with while taking in “The Wanderers” on Broadway in New York City.

ESPN analyst Damien Woody tweeted last Monday: “Ok #Jets fans, how we feelin?” — and Stacy replied: “I would described my household as: on edge!”
