          Pros

Get to learn alot, around a lot of really smart people.

          Cons

Big law is legitimately one of the most challenging things. Everything is urgent, but nothing really matters or is actually that urgent. As a fellow Gen Z, this is not the move. Very little flexibility, very little room for growth, bad benefits, no care for perspective on current world conflicts.

              Pros

              Cons

Yearly raises are a HUGE disappointment for business staff. Everyone gets the same crappy increase. It doesn't matter if you earned a consistently exceeds on your end of year review or a doesn't meet expectations. The end of year increase is the same.

                    Cons

They severely underpay staff (not attorneys) and some departments (such as PD) are under the management of unqualified, narcissistic people so the turnover rate is high.

I’m applying to residency this upcoming summer and a question I’ve heard that is asked quite often is “What is one trait about you that makes you stand out from the other applicants?” How can I go about answering such a question without giving a clique trait or putting down the other applicants?

How much of a problem is it that first week into a new job my dream job wants to invite me in for in-person interviews? What do I tell my new job? Has anybody had this dilemma before?

If a hiring manager tells you they'll be making a decision "by the end of the week" when would they reach out to tell you their decision? By end of that week, or first thing the following week?
