I attended a conference at this location.
First, it's huge! Like I was averaging 15k steps per day. Not good or bad, just a fact. They have a lot of meeting rooms and are 3 levels from what I can tell. Everyone here was very nice and helpful, even though I was very last minute uploading my presentation.
They had snacks for our event twice a day. The food was pretty good and very nicely presented. I really loved the chips they had. They were so good and had a variety of dips.
There are restrooms everywhere and despite thousands of conference attendees, they remained clean.
There are a ton of hotel options and I think 3 attached to the conference center. My only complaint, but it's a big one--it's kind of easy to get lost. I spent my first day running in circles. Overall a great place for a conference.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 13262981413Oct 16, 2023
I visited the Columbus Convention Center recently for Columbus Fashion Week and had a great time connecting with local fashion fans. The lobby area that hosted the runway was awesome and they had set up a small temporary bar, runway, and tons of chairs.
I loved the backdrop of Goodale and High through the windows behind the runway.
There is also a strange LED head that you can view through the window.
Staff were nice and helpful greeting guests as they walked in, and the convention center itself is huge.
The Columbus Fashion Council only utilized one small space but the convention center itself is absolutely huge with tons of smaller rooms for smaller conferences and events.
Parking in the area can be a little nutso but the CCC does have a parking garage nearby.Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Dec 11, 2023
I like that the convention is huge and that they have more food options outside the main hall. I'll remember that for next year. What I didn't think this year for Galaxycon was that they had a massive line just to get in and scan your ticket/receive your badge. I went in 2022 and the line was short and more organized. 2023 was a mess. They could have done a better job with organizing some of the lines for the guests.

Went for Ohayocon 2024. Biggest complaint about the convention center was that it was strangely cold so I kept my coat on. It was cold in most of the center with a few random warmer rooms. The center was kept clean and the bathrooms were also normally clean. I was told one of the mens bathrooms was out of soap in all but one dispenser. Water fountains or bottle refills were around. Also had water stations set up to ensure congers were hydrated. Sadly plastic cups. The escalators were often broken, but that was probably congoers more than the center. The food court was good as always, but North Market and other food options are within walking distance. The Hyatt is connected by a door at several points and floors. The Hilton is also directly attached without even a door separating it from the center. The Drury is connected at the back of the food court. Plenty of other hotels are a short walk. It's so big and roomy that it's not unusual for two conventions to take place at the same time.

Elevators, escalators, and stairs everywhere so you can ride or get exercise. They have signs overhead to guide you as well to some areas. The bathrooms are well maintained, spacious, and this weekend peppermint scented (not sure how often the change the scent). I was disappointed the bathrooms didn't have feminine hygiene products like they did in the past. Water fountains around with bottle refill stations too. The temperature is comfortable and for our event extra water stations were set up. The food court has lots of options and lots of seating with extra seating not far away at the giant staircase. Food can be a bit tricky for vegans, but there is a Subway plus some stuff at the Greek place and the noodle place is popular. Great place for an event.

There is no reason to be here unless you have to. I had too. It's better than most convention centers. Except the are understaffed and it takes forever to get through the entrance for tournaments.
There is an incredibly creepy art installation, if I have to call it that. You don't need a ticket to see it because it's in the lobby of the convention center. It's this large structure with faces projected on it and it's crazy looking.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 25, 2022
Every year they hold the show Cultivate here. It is one of the largest nursery shows in the US and is one I hate to miss.
The venue is easy to get to, it is always top notch, and well done.
There is a hotel attached to the venue as well... which makes for a short walk to the show if you are lucky enough to have booked far enough in advance.
There is also a good size cafe in the venue so you really don't have to leave the show if you can't. However the venue is also right in the middle of many good places to eat... and many more just a short walk away.
I have been coming to this show for more then 20 years now... and I look forward to it every year.Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 14Oh no 1 - Kip D.Brentwood, TN173275Dec 30, 2023
Nice place - the event went well. We did have some trouble parking until we asked for help - this guy was super helpful.

In town for the Premiere Beauty Classic. This convention center is one of the nicest I've been in. Easy to navigate. Bathrooms are clean. Very nice artwork all around. Connecting parking garage attached with a walkway. They have a cafe indoors. Plethora of local restaurants around to try along with North Market.

If they could add some more amazing ethnic food (perhaps imported from Cleveland) and some of the stunning mountain-city views of Pittsburgh, to the city of Columbus, then it would be an even "Greater Columbus" than it already is.
But having said that, Columbus is pretty great... and greatly pretty... especially at this convention centre (UK spelling for once), when the Arnie comes to town as it does annually.
This is an amazing Convention Center where they host the Arnold every year and my goodness there are some amazing looking people coming to the Arnold - but I think I've already done this one so let's make sure that I have it before we continue. Oh yeah I have. So here's the original review below.
So this is a pretty impressive convention center located in Columbus. I like it and you might like it as well.
I'm always across the street from here, for food at North Market, but I rarely come in here... except once a year if I'm in town.
The reason I come here is for the Arnold. Once a year the whole place gets filled with absolutely spectacular men and women, and the girls here have some of the most incredible bodies you could ever imagine, I'm in heaven because that's my fave body type, the combo of California fake and California fitness, it's just amazing, they know it, I know it, I'm glad I finally have a physique where I can fit in with them, but certainly not stand out, as there are many Rock lookalikes that make me look tiny.
They come from all over the country for this thing and good for them. It's just a great amount of testosterone and so much perfect body on show, from some of the most impressive and sexy people in the world. You have to come at least once to see for yourself unless you hate that sort of thing.
In between the shows and what not they're all across the street at North Market eating, so that makes for a great time to be in Columbus.Helpful 11Thanks 0Love this 12Oh no 0
