- Tina CBurleson, TX7 contributionsMy daughter and I loved the Avengers Wax figures and the mirror maze. The scary wax part was ok. I want to go again and take whole family.Written August 14, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Craig G1 contributionThe park is clean, quiet and the sites aren’t too close together. Everyone who works here is extremely helpful and pleasant. We have now been here 3 times and we will be back many more.Written December 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sharon A3 contributionsI'm not a big gambler, but I do love to go to Lone Star Park and watch the horses race. Such power and gracefulness! They often have concerts and are usually free with your park admission. Lots of parking available too.Written October 9, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- dkelleyhDallas, TX9 contributionsOn my first visit to this theatre, I saw the singing comedy show The Redneck Tenors. It was on New Year's Eve and the place was sold out. Nicely refurbished inside and gave a nice "Hollywood Premier" feel for the evening, as everyone was dressed up for the occasion.Written July 8, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Red-Super-HeroTampa, FL329 contributionsSuch a large flea market. There is paid parking. So much to see inside. Plenty of places to get food. There is a big area with rides for the kids. You name it and you may find it here.Written November 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dallas_TravelingDivaDallas, TX80 contributionsGreat outdoor shopping for outlet prices. Parking can be difficult during peak shopping days, however, there are usually enough parking spaces available on regular days. The outlet has a good selection of shops and a nice food court area.Written October 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sarah S1 contributionA very cool and fun activity to try! Christina was extremely knowledgeable about bees. My favorite part was just listening to her talk about them! The tour of the beehive was great fun, too! Thanks for letting us get to try this unique experience.Written August 10, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mrsjterrellTrophy Club, TX127 contributionsWhile I will not be reviewing the show we saw, I will give tips on the theater itself. Parking. Easy but pricey. $15 for general. Attendants were super friendly. Plus! Easy to get inside but once in food and drink we’re so expensive. Even small Capri suns were $3! Yikes. Cotton candy and kettle corn $7. Bathrooms huge and never had a wait time which is great for a mom of littles. Just a hike getting to them if sitting in the 100s. Theater itself was good. Super cold so bring a light jacket. Overall kids loved it so who am I to complain?!?Written October 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ashley H2 contributionsEpic Waters is really pretty awesome! I can only give it four stars, though. I'll explain further down. But, first the pros!
Our kids are 12, 11, and 9. All three had a lot of fun and enjoyed the entire park (except the little kid pool area). The park is clean! That's big for me. It really was cleaner than I expected, from the bathrooms to the actual park. Waterpark bathrooms are always a little meh, but these were clean! I do wish they had a dry side and a wet side. Not fun to have to sit on a wet toilet seat when you're dry. No clumps of hair around, tables are clean, and it appears overall well kept.
The cost is reasonable, in my opinion. There are plenty of things to keep you busy. Our favorites were for sure the Flowrider and the big slides. I wish they would give first timers on the flowrider a second chance to go. When you're learning and you get out there and then mess up 20 seconds into your turn, you go to the end of the line and wait another 20 minutes. But, the people who are experienced get to be out there a while. So I'm not sure I agree with that policy, really. But, the star of the show was the young man running the Flowrider. This guy was great. He enjoys people and his job and you can tell. He helped people learn and everyone seemed to have a good time during their turn. Another pro is the bar! Brilliant, really! Reasonably priced, too. Fun for mom and dad! On the tube situation: no, there aren't tons of tubes. And this makes perfect sense! Only one can be going down the slide at a time anyways. So, you wait until someone is coming off, get a tube from them, then you go up. This creates a small line downstairs, at the ride exit, rather than up the stairs where the ride starts. Smart! You sorta have to figure this out on your own so that's why I wanted to mention it. They could hang a sign or the guards could explain better. We went on a Saturday at 10:15 and it was a perfectly manageable crowd! It actually wasn't crowded at all. No wait for the slides. Of course it got busier as the day went on. Also, on the towel situation: No, they don't provide them, which I was totally fine with (helps with the tidiness of the facility, I think). But! If you're like me and forgot to pack yours (coming in from out of town), go to target! I grabbed bath towels for $3.50/each! Phew! Big save...beach towels would have been so much more expensive (target had none anyways) and for sure in the gift shop!
Now the con. The cafe. The folks working that cafe appear to simply hate their jobs, people, or both. How miserable they all seemed. Annoyed to have to help me with my very simple order, or to hand me a ketchup packet after I asked in a kind, polite way. The pizza was awful. Don't order it. The onion rings were decent. We didn't try anything else. It was all reasonably priced, but man that pizza was awful. It is unfortunate that such a neat attraction has such a black eye when it comes to customer service and experience. And that's for sure an entire star, maybe two, but I'm being nice because overall we had fun!Written December 17, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My recent concert experience here was just fine. The venue seems small from the outside and even from the lobby, but it opens up quite large in the inside. Seats were comfy, temperature was great. Lighting and sound were spot on.Written July 2, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- pblowreyRedondo Beach, CA299 contributionsWe love this park for an Air Hog game and on July 4th you get fireworks as well. However, getting out of the parking lot took us 2 hours after the fireworks were over. The parking and exit for this place is probably not a problem any other night, but beware July 4th.Written July 31, 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
