As I was walking around Americana on this hot and humid day, it was only appropriate to stop and indulge myself. I had the Midnight C&C, Mango Sorbet and Coffee in a regular cup.

Just don't sit too close as the water dances along the pond – water spray may get on your ice cream.

A wide range of known brand shops including Macy’s. The food court had a reasonable selection, toilets are very unclean

We stopped here while sightseeing locally - mostly to see the public library in the old Brand house. The gates into the park are really neat and the library in the old house with its Moorish architecture is quite striking. Inside the library has occupied the old house leaving the old architectural details in place and decorating it with beautiful art. The library is full or comfortable furniture and would be a great place to just hang out and work. This is worth a visit

The moderators were interesting, funny and had tremendous insight into the creators of the cartoons. It is a great event for adults and kids!

I'm always amazed on how many trails are in our local mountains. This was my first time to this trail and it was an enjoyable hike. This is an easy trail for beginners and is well marked and very popular on the weekend. We hiked on a cloudy day but if it was sunny we would've cooked under the sun because there aren't many trees shading the trails. They have begun to add tree seedlings along most of trails which is a great plus for our future hikers. There's plenty of free parking with few parking restriction signs.

It has a grand profile, enhanced by fine brick work and flourishes of embellishment on the facades. A bi-coloured steeple rising heavenwards is outstanding.

It is placed in a tranquil green space with seating and a fountain. An impressive stone cross has a prie-dieu in front allowing the offering of prayers.

It has a very long history of serving well the congregation. First ceremonies were in 1888 and its official dedication was five years later.

As well as religious services, concerts and other presentations are hosted here.

Brewyard is awesome. They rotate through interesting beers. The space is open. The staff is friendly. Never a bad time.

Just double-check your directions before you go - it's a little hidden underneath the Western Ave. bridge!

Most people have to hike to the top of Mount Gleason. Long hike. Plan to carry food and plenty of water. The views are great. Watch for rattlesnakes and deer.

Love hiking in the Verdugo Foothills. So lucky to have these mountains so close and easy to access. Beautiful views, not too busy, and in a short time you feel like you got away. Lucky us!

Located on the corner of South Brand and Caruso are neon signs that are long forgotten. Most of them have been restored to its original glory and some are on loan by their artists.

Some signs you will recognize, while others have a wonderful history to them. Lean about how neon got its start or take a class. You will be fascinated.

All the people here have Neon hearts.
