Reports: Wolves ownership dispute heading to arbitration

Arbitration is "likely multiple weeks away"

The dispute over the Timberwolves ownership is headed toward arbitration, according to numerous reports.

A Wednesday mediation session between Glen Taylor and the team of Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez was unsurprisingly unsuccessful in solving the dispute.

KSTP's Darren Wolfson reported arbitration is "likely multiple weeks away."

The ownership of the team is in dispute after longtime owner Glen Taylor pulled out of the sale just one day after the set completion date of March 27. Taylor claims Lore and Rodriguez failed to complete the purchase before the deadline. The duo deny that claim.

On the court the Wolves are gearing up for Game 1 of their second round playoff series against the Nuggets. Tip off time is still to be determined for Saturday's Game 1 in Denver.
