This is a 1-star movie but a 4-star album / soundtrack. And given that over half this "movie" is just a series of full-song music performances (the soundtrack album, which was a hit, unlike this film, is over 1-hour long) I'm splitting the difference in my star rating.
It's a garbage movie. McCartney "wrote" the screenplay, but I have no idea what that must have looked like, a 1-page quick outline that some hapless screenwriter had to actually pen a few lines for?
