It is an easy hike to the first waterfall where people bathe and a hike with a lot of stairs to the Celeste waterfall. The walk on the sloth sanctuary is pretty easy too. Only the you g was super brave and at the beginning, the older one and myself almost sh*t our pants. However the team of Sergio and his buddy were super helpful and encouraging. Anyway, it was perfect to start with the Tarzan swing to bring up the adrenaline. Throughout the tour we felt super safe and they were super serious about the safety protocols. - JiggyG5590Johnston, RI16 contributionsThis was our second trip with Inside Tours. Percy was our guide this time and I cannot say enough good things about him. He was so informative and truly care about his group. This trip was celebrating my sister’s 5 years of sobriety and Percy was very ambient to inform the beverage serving crew to make sure there was no alcohol in her drinks, that way there was no chance of a language barrier causing her to accidentally get an alcoholic beverage. He obviously just met us but he was so proud of her accomplishment, he made her a flower out of a palm leave and taught her how to salsa! 💃. My other sister is hearing impaired and Percy signed to her in sign language and made sure she understood everything he was saying and pointing out to us so that she didn’t miss anything. We saw multiple dolphins on the way to the island and the snorkeling experience was so cool. I am soooo pleased we made this part of our trip. Warning, if you have fair skin like I do, make sure to use a high SPF sunblock and apply it MULTIPLE times throughout the day. I did and still got a pretty decent sunburn. - Sarah W2 contributionsFirst and foremost I would say the greatest part of our tour was our guide Giancarlos. He was a funny, warm and smart person who made sure everyone was safe and having a great time. He spotted animals that would have been impossible for us to find ourselves.
The transportation was great, we were picked up timely in a new air conditioned van and taken safely to each location.
Every stop on this tour was great! It is certainly a full day trip, including lunch and some downtime in the van going from place to place. There is cold water provided in the van as well.

They were quick to respond to my questions when we were concerned about the weather, and sent me the exact location without my having to ask. They even called us when they saw us struggling to find a parking space. During the tour, they used a laser pointer to help us see the animals. We saw a family of monkeys putting on an acrobatic show, beautiful scarlet macaws, lizards, crocs, and lots of birds. They even provided ponchos for the rain, and binoculars to help us see. They didn’t even mind when my daughter spilled crackers all over the boat. - Carol PTampa, FL46 contributionsOur guide, Juan Rosales, was amazing!! Due to lack of rain recently, water levels were a little low which slowed the flow of the current but he did everything possible to give us a wild ride! The tour started at the meeting point (if you need water shoes this is where you get them) and then took us to a local souvenir shop on the route to allow people to buy things to the trip if necessary (we bought sunglasses holder lanyard things, waterproof case, and a delicious passion fruit juice along with 2 souvenirs) and use the restroom before we arrived to the raft launch point. Midway there was a stop to eat fresh fruit (rafts all travel in a a group) with the other guides/people. Throughout there are people snapping pictures on the banks (guides in kayaks that race ahead) for purchase at the end. We split the cost of photos with the others in our boat, which was $46 total paid with card ($40 if cash). - Bryam R8 contributionsAmazing experience! one of the things I enjoyed the most of the trip no doubt. The nature is just beautiful, the huge trees are impressive and the food at the end was like better than most restaurants I visited no joke, it was great!
I particularly liked how careful they are to prevent damaging the trees with the cables and bridges. You dont see that everywhere.
