Matthew D What happened to you, Argento? Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/26/21 Full Review kevin c A disturbed taxi driver is abducting, torturing and killing beautiful women in Italy. A woman whose model sister is missing, seeks help from an inspector played by Adrien Brody to find her. Directed by Dario Argento, this is a better than average crime thriller with some brutal scenes of violence peppered throughout. I enjoyed this one. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Dario Argento practically invented this genre (Giallo) but it might be time for him to retire. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Some bloody parts ...a Yellow Serialkiller only killing good looking girls and enough suspence ! SOMDVD Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Argento's "Giallo" isn't scraping the bottom of the director's film barrel ( Argento's Dracula takes that honor), but it's pretty close. The acting is mediocre at best, the cinematography is bland, and the film is just straight up boring. What saves the film from being a complete dud is Argento's trademark gore making a true return for the first time in a long time. Overall Giallo is a mess of a film that's best left for Argento completionists. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Another movie that makes us shake our heads and give up hope for an eventual resurrection of Argento's long-gone moviemaking talent. Anton Bitel Projected Figures in making us wonder whether the gross incompetence on display here is his true face or yet another of his masks, Argento may have found himself a new mode of directorial cat-and-mouse. Nov 12, 2010 Full Review Read all reviews
