Georgetown Prep is America’s oldest Catholic boarding and day school for young men in Grades 9 through 12, and the only Jesuit boarding school in the country. Situated on 93 acres in suburban Washington, D.C., Georgetown Prep provides an incredibly unique educational experience and community.

Georgetown Preparatory's timeless mission flourishes as young men fill the walks of the quad and hallways of the nation’s oldest Catholic boys school and only Jesuit boarding school. Prep fulfills its mission with students coming from every background, and 14 states and 18 countries. Words cannot express how grateful I am for Georgetown Preparatory School and the faculty that work here. I transferred to Georgetown Prep as a sophomore and that came with its own challenges. Being a transfer student can be daunting, although I had nothing but support and kindness from the community at Prep. The teachers and faculty at Prep are genuinely invested in the future of their students. I have seen not just a community here, but a family. No matter the obstacles, the students and teachers here at Prep are determined to see each other through the hard times and the good times. Academically speaking, Georgetown Prep is rigorous and enriching. The curriculum is what you make of it, if you invest the time and effort into the Prep academics, you will greatly benefit. Socially, Georgetown Prep is welcoming and has a diverse student body in experiences and backgrounds. This place has allowed me to grow as a person and as a student more than I could ever imagine.
The best all-boy high school! My son grew so much from the rigorous studies, incredible teachers, and awesome sports. Prep does an amazing job of turning these young boys into competent men who are ready for college and the world. These high school graduates are not just academically prepared for college but are thoughtful, kind young men. My husband and I found lifelong friends within this beautiful, welcoming community. Truly impressed with the education our son received and the incredible community he'll be a part of forever.
Georgetown Prep prepared me well for college and led ultimately outstanding a career in Tech/AI. The coursework is challenging, but rewarding. It will be the most challenging four years of your life - but also the most rewarding. I look back fondly to my time at Prep, the intellectual courseload, student network, and athletic challenges prepared me for a lifetime.
