George W. Hewlett High School Reviews
Rating 4.11 out of 5 214 reviews
George W. Hewlett High School has undoubtedly been an adventurous, rigorous, enjoyable, and resourceful school throughout my 4 years attended. Through the myriad selection of challenging AP and college courses offered, as well as the resourceful teacher staff, I can confidently say I monumentally expanded my intellectual capabilities and ambition to succeed. Additionally, through its diverse extracurricular and co-curricular activities, I was able to participate in enjoyable, yet prepping activities to highlight my resume. For instance, my role as a member in both the Honors Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band certainly offered an opportunity to engage in a lively and inclusive ambient and express my emotions through music. Finally, the intriguing music and arts trips that were offered to students was definitely one of the key memories of my experience at Hewlett High School. Overall, I would strongly regard Hewlett High School as a top high school in inclusiveness, difficulty, and preparing
Hewlett provided so many resources and opportunities for me to grow and learn. So many clubs and ways to get involved with the community and beyond--from sports to research to the arts. Never had a teacher I didn't like, and both the faculty and administration were very involved and genuinely cared for all students.
The school provides a variety of courses in multiple departments such as the sciences and arts. Additionally, many extracurriculars are offered for both sports and clubs. I have participated in many of the schools clubs and I found them very fun and interesting. I have also participated in the school's cheerleading team and fencing team. Because of these sports, I was able to build bonds with many new people from different grades. The staff is also very kind and supportive. The school provides challenging courses that enhance the student's education. Through this school, I have made many new friends and relationships with others.
