Other Comments On The Band’s Setlist

Eddie Trunk also reacted to the Gene Simmons Band’s setlist, saying the following on X:

“Shocked at this setlist. Would have expected some deeper different tracks than what KISS has played nonstop for decades. I get some of the big hits. But ‘I Was Made For Loving You?’ Gene even has said he hates that song! Odd. I hear maybe deeper cuts another leg of the tour. Let’s hope.”

Ilani Casino Resort had announced the free show on their Instagram account a few days earlier, writing:

“The Gene Simmons Band is putting on a free show to kick off opening day at Rock & Brews. Will you be there? Tuesday, April 23, 8:00 pm – Rock & Brews.”

Simmons Gives Hints About The Band’s Upcoming Performances

The bassist also previously spoke about what fans should expect from the concert:

“There are no rules, which is my favorite thing in life. Anything is bound to happen. I may jump off the stage and get into the audience. We may pull some folks out of the audience. You wanna sing ‘I Was Made For Lovin’ You’? Here’s the mic. Good luck. We get a chance to play songs KISS has never played and some songs have never been recorded. So it’s a very exciting event.”

Apart from Simmons, the Gene Simmons Band includes guitarists Brent Woods and Zach Throne, along with drummer Brian Tichy. They will head towards Europe for a tour in July.
