Gemma Louise Atkinson (born 16th November 1984 in Bury, Greater Manchester) is an English actress known for playing Carly Hope in Emmerdale and Lisa Hunter in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks as well as some of the Hollyoaks spin off series.
In 2007, Gemma came 5th in ITV's Soapstar Superstar. She also came 5th in ITV's I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here lasting 18 days in the jungle. In 2017 she came 2nd in BBC's Strictly Come Dacing.
In July 2019, Gemma gave birth to a baby girl, Mia.
