Linda Gail Strickland

Mrs. Linda Gail Strickland, 61, a native of State Line and a resident of Buckatunna died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro. She had worked as a Registered Nurse. Mrs. Strickland is preceded in death by her father, B. W. McCully and sister, Joyce McIntosh. She is survived by her husband, Van Earl Strickland of Buckatunna; mother, Katherine McCully of Leakesville; son, John Andrew Pearson of State Line; Grandchild, Ashley Renee Pearson of State Line; step-brother, Charles Pruitt of Pensacola, FL. Visitation for Mrs. Strickland will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, June 27, 2011 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from the Johnson Creek Baptist Church in State Line, MS with Rev. Michael Street officiating. Interment will be in Johnson Creek Cemetery, State Line, MS.
