Alfredo Diaz-Santillan and
Jake Raine were selected to the 2022 Southern Conference Men's Soccer Championship All-Tournament Team, it was announced following Saturday's final in Greensboro, N.C.
Diaz-Santillan, a senior from Charlotte, N.C., recorded a pair of assists in Furman's 3-2 victory over rival Wofford in the opening round of the league tournament. He finished the season with four goals and three assists to lead the Paladins with 11 total points.
Raine, who missed the majority of the 2022 season due to injury, netted four goals in postseason play. The junior from Stoke, England, scored a pair of first half goals in the 3-2 win over the Terriers before adding two more in a 6-3 semifinal round loss to eventual champion UNC Greensboro. Despite playing only seven matches this season, Raine paced the Paladins with five goals.
