One of our favorite brands of gelatos and sorbet is on sale for a few more days. There's also a digital coupon for more off.
I found the freezer housing them. They were slight picked over but I still managed to find some flavors we would like. as I rounded the corner, I saw another large supply of them! Wheee, I was so happy. I traded a few of them for flavors I really liked. Another happy shopper!
We tested one of the flavors at home and it was delicious!

We made our usual stops on the aisles and got our needs. We went through the checkout line. I noticed a new slew of store employees working today. They were pleasant and helpful.
Shared parking lot and WiFi.Jan 8, 2024Previous reviewA few purchases to make early in the morning. I got all wrapped up for the cold weather (34 degrees here) and made my way to the store. The nice thing about shopping early is that there are hardly any other shoppers and easy fast checkout. Hit the deli area for some Boar's Head products, fruit and produce. I'm sure I will be back soon as I always am.
I used the self check out and was done in a blink. Shared parking and WiFi.Oct 27, 2023Previous reviewSince we were away I had emptied the fridge. We were totally out of food so a trip to the store was necessary.
My usual first stop is the delicatessen where I get some Boar's Head products. New staff greeted me and helped me with my order. Raspberries were on sale. My nephew gave me a boatload of multi grain tortillas to take home. I decided that some street tacos sounded like the right thing. Picked up some avocado, tomatoes, lettuce and ground turkey. Perfect! Added some Bella mushrooms to the mix and they turned out good.
Thanks Fry's! Good meal!
Shared parking lot and WiFiAug 26, 2023Previous reviewToday the list involved getting a watermelon, broccoli, salmon and anything else on sale. Grapes and blueberries were the deals of the day. Yum, I love summer fruits. I found some large beef steak tomatoes too. I included two photos of Impossible and Beyond Sausage plant based "meats." Both are good if you're looking for a meat alternative.
There were a few marked down items on two tables but I didn't see anything I needed.
I did my usual self check out. There are usually two to three staff members working here to help with any issues. I didn't have any problems.
Large outdoor shared parking with WiFi.May 23, 2023Previous reviewIt was eerily quiet here. Only a handful of shoppers around. I needed a bit of food since we had been away.
Strawberries are the deal of the week. You have to use the digital coupon to get the price. Most of the time the digital coupon works but it is a nuisance. Double check the pricing as you are checking out. Sometimes the coupon doesn't always work. I am a regular here so most clerks know me. All you have to do is speak up and they will have the issue resolved.
Shared parking lot and WiFi.Sep 9, 2022Previous reviewI did my usual Senior day shopping. I purchased my usual beginning in the produce section. Blackberries were on sale for 99 cents each. Nice! I bought two of them. Every refrigerated item went into the fridge.
Fast forward to Thursday when I pulled the berries out to wash them. One packet was fine but the other looked like a science experiment with mold on the bottom. Ick! I gathered my receipt and the moldy culprit to return them. It was no problem and I got a replacement. I opened the packet to make sure they were fresh.
Thanks Fry's for the exchange with no questions.Aug 15, 2022Previous reviewI went to Fry's for some Boar's head deli meat and Almond milk. I found both easily since this is my store of choice. I also got some sparkling water and cereal. As I went to pay for my items, I noticed a cart with many markdowns on couscous and black beans and rice. They were not damaged and the sell by date is next year. Score for me. Don't you love a good deal?
Visiting the store often pays off. I've noticed by a day or so, the markdowns are no longer available.Jul 29, 2022Previous reviewMy friend mentioned that grapes were on sale this week at Fry's. They are one of my favorite fruits and for 89 cents/pound, that is a great deal! I bought two bags; one for us and the other to take to a retreat. I know they will all get eaten up. I'm also a bit lotion crazy and got a digital coupon for $1.50 off Aveeno baby lotion. That's quite a savings and my dermatologist recommends it. I use it after my showers and my goats milk lotion is used for my hands and feet. So get your coupon online and join in on the savings.
Large parking area and free WiFi.Jul 23, 2022Previous reviewLately I have found some marked down items especially in the produce section. I find that if you eat them immediately, no problem. Today I found some marked down mangoes. My mouth started watering at the thought of salsa or a mango salad. I also found baby kale on sale so instant salad!
I went to the self check out line and couldn't get something to scan. A staff member had the same issue so he put it in my bag as a freebie. So nice of him. I am there quite often so I don't really think the store lost money. Thank you Fry's!
Large outdoor parking and free WiFi.May 4, 2022Previous reviewThe first Wednesday of the month is Senior day. If you are 55 years or better, you qualify for the senior day discount. It is a nice bargain on mostly everything in the store except alcohol.
I arrived at the store about 7:30 AM. There was hardly anybody there
which made shopping quick and easy.
I usually hit the deli first for some Boar's head deli meat. It is usually crowded at the deli so shopping here immediately was a bonus. I continued going up and down the aisles until shopping was completed.
I had a coupon for a particular food product. After seeing the product I could not eat some of the ingredients. Rather than toss the coupon, I act as the "coupon fairy" leaving it by the product for someone else. I do that quite often.
I checked out with no wait.
Off to the next stop.Jan 28, 2022Previous reviewFry's seems like one of my second homes since I am here so often. It is close shopping and I like to get much of my produce fresh. Sometimes you just feel like you need something sweet. I splurged on a mini Lava cake made by Ghirardelli's chocolate. Little dark chocolate chips on top. Yummy! Could it be any more decadent? I had a sliver after dinner and was in heaven. After I ate it I remembered that I should have zapped it in the microwave so that the chocolate could drip out. Oh well, it sure was good the way I had it.
Sep 23, 2021Previous reviewToday I went to Fry's to get a few items in the produce section. I saw my favorite Simple Truth plant based cauliflower dip, cilantro with jalapeño flavor. So good and just enough kick yet not overwhelming or sweat breaking.
I was also happy to see more options in the ice cream section. They now carry frozen desserts for lactose intolerant. This dessert is made by Oatmilk, Sea salt caramel. I tested it already and it is creamy and delicious. If you closed your eyes, you'd think you were having ice cream.
What a treat! Try it, you'll like it!Jan 11, 2021Previous reviewUsually find what I need. The. Deli can get busy. Wish they had a number system but everyone is good about taking turns. Some Fry's have order machines but not this one. Today service was quick. Friendly staff who are helpful.

This has been a constant thing with Fry's Pharmacy, 4814 E. Carefree Highway Cave Creek AZ. Even when there are multiple people working there they take their sweet time coming over to help you. Yesterday was the last straw for me. There was a man picking up his prescription in front of me. It took several minutes for the blonde pharmacist to deign to come over and help him. When he left I was standing there waiting to pick up mine. She turned without a word and simply WALKED AWAY!!!! My jaw dropped and I threw up my hands. The other young man saw me and hurried over to ring me up. How dare any "professional" treat a customer like that? Disgusting.

TED at FRY's has helped my family several times! It is time for him to receive a review bc of his outstanding customer service! To me it is as important who you are greeted by at the front-the amazing customer service even more than the grocery shopping experience! I think Ted might be an assistant manager but regardless he always goes out of his way to make sure we have great shopping. On one occasion I noticed that a few of the sale items didn't ring up and Ted quickly fixed my receipt. He didn't make me feel rushed even though they were very busy. I pay attention to customer service and then shop at those stores. Thanks Ted for going above and beyond ALL OF THE TIME! Of course we LOVE fry's but you are the reason we always come back! Amazing customer service and super good at math (figuring out the receipt was no easy feat). Thank you Ted and thank you Fry's for being our favorite store!

Today is the 2nd time I have been told (after the purchase), that the posted price on produce requires an "internet coupon"! The special price advertised in large print for Haas Avocados was 79 cents each, but at check out, I am charged $2.29 EACH. This is false advertising and blatantly misleading!
In addition, I have HAD IT with checking my own groceries! I don't mind bagging my own, but it takes me twice as long to check out when I have to scan each item.
So much for being a VIP customer!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chris W.Scottsdale, AZ359766Jul 14, 2022
Great people horrible technology for coupon. 11min to download your Frys app to save $2??! Save yourself a review and just discount the item! What are we doing Frys IT? Uggh.

This store has rouge employees who refuse to require shoppers to wear masks. I was told by Crystal the Manager that it's her legal right not to wear a mask and she doesn't have to ask her customers to comply.
Unacceptable and I have reported to Kroger Corporate and I will be reporting this business to the state agency Monday morning. Totally unacceptable, unprofessional and a health risk for residents in our area.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jared O.Desert View Village, Cave Creek, AZ0111Nov 25, 2021
Thanksgiving 2021 I enter the store for A bottle of Prosecco for mimosas I've been there before and I've purchased alcohol there many times before that but this time the redheaded lady also the store manager refused to sell me alcohol. I remind you that I am over 21 and my girlfriend at the time forgot her ID and assumed she was under age she was disrespectful and was not following Covid protocol with her mask flapping around in the wind as it revealed her horrid breath my God I understand that you're working on Thanksgiving but whatever happened to the customer is always right also she was super mean and hurt my feelings and I think she was a racist on guard I got two stars because I still bought my soda and OJ for the mimosas thank God that I just went to the Circle K across the street and picked up some more drank damn she really be playing me like she doing something good

Had to review this exceptional store ,splitting my time between working in Vegas during this crisis, amd getting back to Phoenix region as oftrn as possible sopeaceful in the valley. Was just impressed by the store employees and the management on my few visits there the weekend of the 17th ,18th April. The mest department employess are always had bright smile and wuick to help, love the cleanliness of the store, unfortunately they were out of paper products all weekend , but not there fault (horders) large selection of adult beverages and great prices to boot, compared to lost Vegas Smith's great location next to a few gas stations and a home depot...

I have a problem with Fry's Grocery Stores (Kroger). Not sure if this is one store, a region, state or nationally. The Fry's in my are, most of the courtesy clerks (the ones getting the arts, take cars to your car, sanitizing the carts) are not wearing masks. Even though the door clearly say "fir your protection our shot must wear masks. As wells require our customers to do as well". These young guys, are not wearing their masks. I have reported this several times. Their response is "when it is hot we are not required to wear them". I have spoken to management, without success. Sounds like a scheduling problem. Give them 15 minutes outside, and 15 inside, etc.. These are the kids who are handling your carts and groceries.................
If I had a choice of other stores in my area, I would switch. This is the Frys in Cave Creek, at 48th Street and CareFree Highway.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
