Pero las carreras tampoco durarían para siempre, y Frankie Muniz era un joven trabajador: por esta razón, fue batería de Kinsfoil, un grupo que abandonó al poco tiempo, aunque sin alejarse demasiado: se transformó en su manager. Pero en 2017 le detectaron amnesia, y el joven intérprete lo confesó al público: había escenas de Malcolm in the middle que no recordaba.
