Actor Frank Grillo recently gave fans a peek inside his much-loved boxing routine—and, man, do you not want to mess with this dude.

Grillo—who is known for starring in The Purge franchise, the TV show Kingdom, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Brock Rumlow—recently took to Instagram to show off his choice training in a duo of videos.

In one particularly impressive 30-second clip, which was filmed at Fortune Gym in Los Angeles, the 56-year-old actor takes his fists to some focus mitts, practicing his technique, execution, and mean mug to absolute perfection.

"Fucking grinding on hump day [with] my man Justin Fortune," Grillo captioned the post. "Ready to start work in [top] form thanks to training every day and living clean."

For those curious, Grillo follows a Paleo diet, which he shared in-depth with Men's Health last year on a tour of his home fridge.

The actor also posted a second clip from the same training session where he practices his hook technique. And he used the opportunity to drop some training wisdom upon his loyal followers.

"So important to train 'as if,'" the actor wrote in the caption. "As if you’re a fucking champion. Always learning always."

The actor previously told Men's Health that he got into the best shape of his life after 50, encouraging other men to go after their fitness goals no matter their age.

"In your fifties, you think you should be slowing down," he said. "I probably got in the best shape of my life at 52 years old, which is the message I try to tell people all the time, much younger than me. There's no rules, so don't think as you get older you get slower."

Grillo is reportedly currently filming the biopic Lamborghini, which he stars in as famed Italian carmaker Ferruccio Lamborghini. Grillo is also set to appear in the upcoming action movie Hounds of War.
