On April 13th, 2024, Canadian musician Grimes faced technical failures during her DJ set at the 2024 Choacella Festival, as her songs were playing at double speed. X[1] user @shane1409 posted one of the earliest mentions about Grimes’ tracks being "at double tempo" alongside a video [deleted for copyright issues] of the set, which amassed more than 10 million views and 25,000 likes since posted on April 14th.
On the same day, TikTok[2] user @__tiktokdetective__ uploaded the clip showing Grimes having technical issues with her set, which amassed more than 1.3 million plays and 54,900 likes in a day.

For instance, on April 14th, 2024, X[3] user @ambermyself posted a GIF (shown below) from the Ma 2019 film paired with the caption "Frank Ocean seeing everyone say grimes had the worst Coachella performance of all time," which amassed more than 43,000 likes and 2,800 retweets in a day.

On April 15th, 2024, TikTok[4] user @eskei83 explained what likely happened during Grimes's Coachella DJ set (shown below, left), which garnered over 460,000 plays and 17,000 likes in a few hours. On April 14th, TikTok[5] user @materialmorg also commented on the singer's failed DJ set (shown below, right), which amassed roughly 143,000 plays and 3,300 likes in a day.
